The Alpha Train (Christina and Sebastian) novel Chapter 141

So, young Alpha, tell me about yourself,” I say to Noah.

He shrugs. “There’s not much to tell. My mother died a couple of years ago. My father is ready to retire and I’m about to turn eighteen and take over the pack… if I pass this semester, of course,” he says sheepishly.

He’s cute, but I see the underlying sadness in his eyes. He’s got a sweetness to him and from what Sylvie and Mia told me, he’s honest and wants to succeed based on his own merits which I respect.

“Tell me about your mother. What was she like?” I ask.

He was a momma’s boy. That doesn’t surprise me. Based on what he tells me, I’m guessing she showered him with love and affection and when she died, it left a gaping hole in his heart and in his life.

When he turns the conversation to me, I let him, telling him all about my ne.. granddaughter. Surprisingly, he focuses on me as if my story is the most exciting thing he’s ever heard. He asks questions and comments on my family. He’s either learning quickly in the Communication class, or he’s very interested in babies, which in my experience, no young Alpha is until the baby is theirs.

After dinner, I watch as a smaller than average number of

tokens are handed out. I remember hell week always being light when it came to tokens.

When James releases everyone, I turn back to Noah.

“When would you like to start getting caught up, Noah?” I ask

him.

“Uh, as soon as you’re ready, Luna.”

“How about tonight then?”

“Really?” he asks.

“You have a week’s worth of practice to get caught up on and only eight weeks until this semester is over. Time is of the essence, Noah.”

“Yeah, that would be great. Did you want to come to my room, or we could go to the classroom,” he says.

“Let’s go to the classroom. It’s been a couple of years since I was on one of those tables. It would probably help me, which will help you, if I start to feel comfortable in the open space of classroom. How about twenty minutes?

“Great, I’ll see you there,” he says, looking excited to start. Well, that’s positive. Some young Alphas have a problem working with an olc woman, but Noah doesn’t seem bothered.

I take a quick shower and head to the classroom. When I get there, Noah is already there.

Oh uh, we started with everyone on their stomachs so we could learn how to touch you the way you like,” he says, his eyes hyper focused on my face.

“I’m very vocal about what I like and don’t like, young Alpha. And as I said, we need to get you caught up. You can still massage me this way,” I tell him, closing my eyes.
