The assistants begin to walk in, and the Alphas refocus on them.

“What did you want to try, Sebastian?” Christina asks me.

I squat down in front of her so our conversation can stay private.

“Sorry, Luna,” he says, fumbling around under the table, looking for the heat switch.

“Alpha Logan,” I say, showing him where to find the switch on the table.
