The Billionaire Ex-Wife and the Beggar He Became novel Chapter 352

"If I hadn't craved that damn Classic Six-Harmony Platter, we would never have raised that curse, Winona. I'm going to kill her right now! I'll kill her, and I will pay the price!"

Henrietta grabbed her purse and stormed out of the house.

"Mom…" Jason called after her, but she didn't look back.

"In this family, only your mother and I have any real power over Winona. After all, we raised her. She owes us more than she could ever repay in this life, the next, or the one after that. Ten billion doesn't even begin to cover it. Instead of being grateful, she's turned on us, trying to destroy the Shepherd family. Let your mother go give her a piece of her mind. She deserves it," Teague said to Jason.

Jason didn't try to stop his mother again.

After driving a short distance, Henrietta pulled out her phone and called Winona. She immediately regretted it, thinking Winona wouldn't answer if she saw who was calling.

But this time, Henrietta was wrong. She dialed, and Winona picked up immediately. "Ms. Henrietta. To what do I owe the call?"

"What have you done to the Shepherd family?" Henrietta demanded fiercely.

"Ms. Henrietta, as a single woman, I don't have the power to do anything to the Shepherd family. However…"

Before Winona could finish, Henrietta cut her off, her voice dripping with venom. "You're talking about your boyfriend, aren't you! No, that's not right. Yves Prescott isn't your boyfriend! He's just one of your many sugar daddies! One of your patrons, trying to win your favor by destroying the Shepherd family. You ungrateful brat, have you forgotten that you grew up in this family for sixteen years? How can you be so heartless! How can you be so cruel!"

"Jason, I've found Winona's studio. I'm going up right now. If I don't tear her face to shreds today, then I'm not her mother!" Henrietta was still using the maternal title as a weapon, as if Winona should obey her like a daughter.

"Mom, Yves Prescott's men just came," Jason said, his voice frantic. "They gave us until tonight to move out of the villa! And all of our family's bank accounts, including Felly's, have been frozen. If we move out tonight, we'll be sleeping on the street!"

Henrietta's lips turned purple with rage. She hung up on her son and immediately redialed Winona. "Winona, you black-hearted, rotten thing! What do you want?"

"It's simple," Winona's voice came through the phone, calm and detached. "Have that old man, Hancock Shepherd, and his mistress come to my grandmother and kneel before her in apology."
