"You're not my daddy. I don't have a daddy," Tiana said firmly.
Hearing this, Julian was consumed by rage. He pressed the remote for the electronic gate, his face dark as he strode through the courtyard and into the foyer.
The entire Shepherd family was sitting in the living room. Even Catherine and Victor Nicholson, whom Winona had thrown out, had snuck back in with their uncle Jason when no one was guarding the gate. The two children couldn't bear to leave this glittering palace for a moment.
Seeing Julian, Victor and Catherine ran to him wildly, shouting, "Daddy, Daddy, you're finally back!"
Catherine hugged Julian’s leg and sobbed, "Daddy, you don't know what happened! A bunch of robbers came to our house this morning! And they brought back that little beggar, that filthy Tiana. That little beggar bullied me and kicked me out of my room! Daddy, you have to get revenge for me! You have to make her cry so she'll never bully me again. Make her kneel at my feet and be my dog, okay, Daddy?"
Julian said nothing. His heart felt like it was being ripped apart by a rabid dog. He wanted nothing more than to kick the little girl clinging to his leg so hard she'd fly into a wall and have her brains bashed out, killing her on the spot. But he knew the eight-year-old was just a pawn. The real evil lay with Henrietta.
Her words finally made him notice that his living room was a wreck, as if an earthquake had hit. There wasn't a single untouched spot.
At that moment, Henrietta walked over. Seeing her son-in-law, her eyes reddened. "Julian, you see? We had a disaster today. That evil Winona came and smashed everything. Felly knows all about it."
"By the way, why didn't Felly come back with you? Oh, look at me, I completely forgot. She had to escort Mr. Frank back to his country to recuperate after signing the asset transfer contract, right? Why didn't you go with her? Oh, I know, you must have come back to get your passport or something?"
Jason didn't get to finish before he, too, was met with a heavy kick from Julian. It had truly been an unlucky day for him. First, Winona had nearly broken his arm with a rubber baton, and now his brother-in-law had sent him reeling. Julian's kick left him gasping for air.
Before he could recover, Julian had grabbed Henrietta by the hair, lifted her head, and slammed it viciously against the corner of the table. The blow reopened the wound on her scalp that Winona had already inflicted, creating a new, gaping gash. Blood poured down her face.
Hendrietta couldn't help but scream, "He's killing me! Help! Son-in-law, aren't you afraid of what Felly will say when she gets back?"
"Your daughter, Felicity? She's in jail, and she's never getting out," Julian said in an icy tone.
