"Yves Prescott, what… what do you want?" Felicity's voice was filled with terror.
"Winona is right. You can choose to kill yourself. If you don't, your only other option is prison. And once you're inside, things will be out of your control," Yves replied, his tone as light and chilling as Winona's had been.
With that, he hung up the phone.
He turned to the Shepherd family, his expression laced with scorn. "Do you have any idea how Felicity managed to trick her way into your family? Or who the father of her two children is?"
The Shepherds looked up at him, stunned.
Even Winona turned to him. "What did you find out?"
Yves nodded. "For the past four months, I've been secretly investigating Felicity. Initially, I was doing it to get revenge for Grandma. She said she wanted to see the Shepherds homeless, and I wanted to grant her that wish. But in the process of driving you out, I stumbled upon one of Felicity's secrets. A secret you all later found out as well. I discovered she had two children."
"You… you knew about her children before the new year?" Mia asked, curious.
"Because I was planning to drive the Shepherds out, I had people watching their house day and night. One night, my subordinate saw Felicity sneak out of the house with a heavy suitcase and give it to a man. Mrs. Shepherd," Yves said, looking at the hunched figure of Henrietta with a smirk, "if I'm not mistaken, what your fake daughter gave that man that night was money, wasn't it?"
Henrietta nodded miserably. "We… we were completely fooled by that woman. She deserves to die a thousand deaths!"
"And that man is the father of her two children, correct?" Yves asked.

Henrietta was completely bewildered. "But I was the one who went to the mountains to find her! Before that, she didn't even know we existed! How did any of this happen?"
Yves looked at Old Mrs. Shepherd.
"For that," he said sarcastically, "you have to ask yourselves what shady business you two got up to a long time ago."
Henrietta and Old Mrs. Shepherd exchanged a glance, and their faces instantly grew tense.
