**Chapter 10**
“Wow,” she breathed, her gaze fixed on his face, as if she were trying to memorize every detail.
Bryan, slightly perplexed, raised his eyebrows in curiosity, wondering what could possibly be so amusing about his appearance.
“Wow,” she repeated, her voice filled with a mix of admiration and disbelief.
“What?” he responded, genuinely intrigued.
“You are so handsome,” she said, her laughter bubbling up like a spring.
“I know,” Bryan replied nonchalantly, shrugging his shoulders as if it were the most natural thing in the world. Her laughter was infectious, and she shook her head in playful disbelief at his confidence.
“What’s your name?” he inquired, a hint of curiosity dancing in his eyes.
“Aria,” she replied, a bright smile lighting up her face.
“Aria,” he echoed, nodding slightly as if he were committing her name to memory.
“And yours?” she asked, her curiosity piqued.
“I am…”
Suddenly, a voice sliced through the air, calling out, “Aria!” Both of them turned to see Aiden sprinting towards her, his face a mixture of urgency and relief.
“Aiden!” she called back, her heart swelling with joy at the sight of her brother.
Aiden reached them, his gaze darting to Bryan for a fleeting moment before he quickly averted his eyes, focusing instead on his sister.
“Come on, we have to go! We only have three minutes left before Mum gets back,” Aiden urged, his grip tightening around her hand as if anchoring her to him.
“I was looking for you! Where did you go?” Aria asked, her voice a blend of frustration and concern.
“I was looking for you too! Why did you run off like that?” Aiden shot back, his voice rising slightly, the tension between them palpable.
“I ran off? You left me! I couldn’t find you, and I was scared!” she yelled, her emotions spilling over as they began to bicker like a pair of stormy clouds.
Bryan stood there, observing the sibling squabble with a mix of amusement and bewilderment. He felt like a spectator at a tennis match, unsure of when to intervene or if he even should.
“Fine, I’m sorry, but we really need to go. Mum is going to be furious,” Aiden conceded, tugging her along with him.
Aria paused for a moment, glancing back at Bryan, her face breaking into a bright smile.
“Bye, Mr. Handsome!” she giggled, her voice trailing off as Aiden pulled her away.
