Alessa paced in front of Aiden’s room as she thought of what to say to them. She knows Aria would be with him because she would be crying so much.
She stood in front of the door and exhaled heavily.
“Come on, Alessa. You can do this, you beat up men in seconds, two five-year-olds shouldn't intimidate you this much,” she muttered and exhaled heavily.
She needed to talk to them before they went to bed, she felt like it would be worse in the morning.
After waiting for minutes, she slowly opened the door and poked her head in.
“It's okay, Aria. Stop crying.” Aiden said with his voice breaking as he used his hand to wipe her tears. They were both seated on his bed, staring at each other. He is comforting her despite wanting to cry too.
Alessa couldn't help but feel bad, she really didn't want them to find out this way.
“You can come in,” Aiden said without turning to look at her. Alessa bit her lip and walked in fully, she walked closer to them and hesitated a little before sitting next to them.
She had no idea what to say, she just kept staring at them.
“Yo… you can ask any question you want and I will answer all,” she said softly as Aria looked up at her in tears.
“We don't have questions and we are not mad,” Aiden said and turned to her.
“We once thought about it, we kind of knew he was our father. I look a lot like him and Aria looks like Tracy. They have the same hair. We noticed how Mr. & Mrs. Hart were nice to us too so it's okay. We get it.” Aiden explained and Alessa smiled a little at him. She exhaled in relief and looked at Aria.
“She is just crying because she likes Bryan and now she needs to hate him. It's easy for me, I never liked him. I just knew he was a bad person.” Aiden shrugged and Alessa chuckled lightly.
She spread her arms towards Aria and she crawled to her, Alessa wrapped her arms around her and she buried her face in her chest.
“You don't have to hate him, he… he’s your father.” Alessa stuttered the last part of her sentence and gulped.
“It's difficult for you to admit that and you want us to?” Aiden asked, staring at her.
Alessa had no response to his question. Of course it's difficult to admit that he is their father, she went through hell because of him.
