The longer Linda looked at the ring, the more she liked it. But seeing how Wynn's expression remained completely calm, she immediately understood that Wynn clearly didn't think much of it.
And of course she didn't. Ever since Wynn had met Trevor, everything she'd received had been the best.
Not to mention, when Trevor had prepared to propose to her, he had spent a fortune on a top-grade diamond. Compared to that diamond, the one on this ring was...
Just as Linda was thinking about that, the sales associate, noticing that both Wynn and Linda were dressed in branded clothing and obviously wealthy, quickly stepped forward enthusiastically.
"If you're interested in diamond rings, we actually have even finer pieces over here. Please, this way."
Wynn truly had no interest in any of the jewelry in this store.
She had no intention of looking further.
But while she wasn't interested, Linda was, and that alone made Wynn willing to linger.
This shop did carry jewelry in the million-plus range.
Among the pieces the associate brought out, one diamond necklace instantly caught Linda's eye. She stared at it, unable to look away, and asked with shining eyes, "How many carats is the diamond on this necklace?"
Seeing that she really might buy it, the associate beamed. "You have excellent taste, miss. The diamond on this necklace is the largest, finest, and most beautiful stone in our entire collection. It weighs—"
Before she could finish, Jordyn—who had shown zero interest in jewelry so far—stood on tiptoe to peek. Hearing the associate's words, she frowned in confusion and looked up at Wynn.
"This is already the biggest one in the whole store? But it looks really small."
The associate's smile froze slightly. She assumed the child simply didn't understand diamonds.
And frankly, that was what both Linda and Wynn thought as well.
The associate began to laugh awkwardly and was about to explain when Jordyn continued, "The diamond Daddy bought for Mommy on her birthday—that one was really big. I couldn't even hold it with one hand."
The moment she finished, the associate blinked in shock.

But remembering how much Trevor cared for Jordyn, she didn't dare say it outright.
At that moment, Wynn finally snapped back to reality.
She quickly stepped in, trying to cut off the conversation. "Jo, I need to use the restroom. Do you want to go with me?"
"Wynn, you can go ahead. I don't want to go."
Jordyn, having heard the mockery in Linda's tone, looked displeased.

At those words, even Linda finally understood.
But she was stunned. "W-What did you just say?"

The readers' comments on the novel: The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor)
My fav novel post us more chap per day...
why is there not 5 episodes updated daily like the others on this website...
I read this novel recently. I just feel, it is exhausting being in Celeste shoes. Not getting a clear break, on the other side - Trevor is comfortably two timing and dragging. He is not really worth and should face the consequences. On the other hand, i also feel that probably he is putting on a mask to push Celeste to achieve her dreams and eventually became a hero. However, his attitude and physical relationship with Wynn - is not justifying my this theory. Let's just wait and watch, i hope it is not too much of a drag...
Depressing if Trevor give up Celeste and propose to his mistress! Poor Jordyn. Thank goodness,I am busy with patients' issues. I can stop here....
Will it make difference to Trevor if he knows how his mistress family malign the mother of his daughter even if he and Celeste are divorcing for his mistress?...
Please update atleast 3 chapters a day......
