The Breaking Point of Love (Celeste and Trevor) novel Chapter 584

Jordyn thought Linda genuinely hadn't heard clearly.

She huffed, lifted her little chin, and repeated herself proudly. "I said that last month, for my mom's birthday, my dad gave her a very big diamond. But that diamond was red, not like this one!"

Linda was even more stunned. "H-How is that possible!"

She suddenly turned to Wynn, blurting out,

"Wynn, what she means is—"

But Wynn looked unexpectedly calm. "Enough. Don't dwell on it."

Then she softened her tone toward Jordyn. "Since you don't like this place, Jo, let's go somewhere else."

Seeing that Wynn seemed to be taking her side, Jordyn happily nodded. "Okay!"

Holding Jordyn's hand, Wynn paused before leaving and glanced back at Linda. "Don't spread this around at home."

With that, she led the little girl out of the jewelry shop.

Linda didn't expect Wynn to remain this composed. She was even more confused as she had no idea what Wynn meant.

In her mind, Wynn was sharp. There was no way she hadn't realized that the diamond Jordyn mentioned was the same one they had all assumed Trevor bought for his proposal.

Unless... Trevor had purchased another diamond on top of that?

And telling her not to tell the family...?

Though Linda was full of questions, her trust in Wynn was absolute. Even if she didn't understand anything, she still obediently followed her out of the store, dazed.

Over the next few days, Celeste kept running back and forth between the hospital and the company.

He was merely being courteous. Given Trevor's obvious disdain for the Rodriguez family, he fully expected him to decline.

And everyone else present—except Jordyn—thought the same.

However, to their surprise, Trevor chuckled softly. "Of course, Mr. Rodriguez."

His answer stunned not only Celeste and the others, but even Betty paused.

Martha also froze for a moment. But she quickly brushed it off, assuming Trevor only agreed because of her.

The others shared the same assumption.

Meanwhile, Jordyn was delighted and immediately tugged Celeste out the door.
