The Contract Said No Strings Attached (Charlotte) novel Chapter 570

A flash of anger crossed Mr. Harold's eyes. He turned to George and said, "George, get them out of here. From now on, no one from the Foster family is to set foot on Thomson property ever again."

George nodded and said to the nearby bodyguards, "Please escort the Foster family out."

Katherine refused to move. "No! We saved you! You can't just kick us out."

But it was useless. The bodyguards forcibly removed them from the house.

Katherine continued to make a scene at the gate, struggling to get back inside and yelling, "You can't do this to us! We're the ones who saved you!"

Jane quickly grabbed her. "Kathy, stop it! Let's just go."

Jane's voice trembled. She was afraid of making things worse. The Foster family was powerless against the Thomsons; leaving was the only sensible choice.

But Katherine was still not ready to give up. "Mom, we can't just leave! They owe us an explanation!"

"But we can't fight the Thomsons! How are we supposed to demand an explanation?" Jane sighed. "Honey, what should we do?"

Hogan's face was ashen. He had never been so humiliated in his life, feeling as if he had lost all face. If the Thomsons were determined to ignore them, there was nothing he could do.

Just then, Rebecca and Samuel returned.

The moment Katherine saw Rebecca, she lunged at her. "Rebecca! Tell me! Did you steal my place as the savior?"

Rebecca looked at the three of them, disheveled and desperate, and knew they hadn't gotten what they wanted and were now panicking.

She said calmly, "Why would I need to steal your place? I was the one who saved Grandfather back then."
