Jason stared her down fearlessly with a smile. "I can do that, but you're coming with me too! Or have you forgotten that we've made plans to go to Serenity Bay to talk about work after your meeting? Let's go!"

Corinne did not want to go with him. She waved her hands and said, "No, we don't need to go there. Build your art gallery for all I care. Just make sure it doesn't take up more than one-fifth of the land!"

Corinne glanced at him. "How do you know they're two-faced? Maybe they're serious about you."

Jason crossed his arm. "Who cares if they're really serious about me? The woman I like is you, not them!"

Corinne's eyes dimmed. It was so obvious she held his actions in high chagrin. "But I don't like you!"

"The more you say what's on your mind, the more I like you!" said Jason with a smile.

Corinne's lips twitched. She decided to keep her mouth shut. Otherwise, with Jason's skill for the gab, there would be no end to their bickering!

The two of them walked out of the elevator. Jason was about to go to his car when Corinne stopped him.
