I’ve already forgotten how I got there, how I ended up squatting in front of Alexander, letting his hand brush against the most vulnerable part of my neck.
All I remember is, under the flashing lights, Alexander narrowed his eyes as he looked at me, then let out a mocking laugh.
“Boom-?
Thunder rumbled outside.
I snapped out of my daze, rushing out of the bathroom in a panic.
The bedroom light wasn’t on; the faint glow from the bedside lamp was the only source of
illumination.
Alexander stood by the window, silently gazing out at the heavy rain.
In the warm glow of the light, his features seemed shrouded in the chill of deep winter, distant and haughty.
I just stood there, watching him. Even though we had been together for three years, I knew deep down that there was an insurmountable distance between Alexander and me.
I don’t know how wealthy Alexander’s family is.
I only know that all the prominent “boyfriends” in the sugar–baby group chats treat Alexander
with the utmost respect.
In a daze, I heard Alexander speak coldly, “Come here.”
I obeyed, walking over, only to be pulled onto the bed.
Today, Alexander was impatient.
You could say he was reckless.
I bit my lip, my face turning pale, but I didn’t dare make a sound.
The corner of Alexander’s lips curled up coldly, “Aren’t you going to ask about the bite mark? Aren’t you going to ask why I’m angry?”

I forced a smile, wrapping my arms around Alexander’s neck and kissing his lips.
“As long as you’re happy, everything else doesn’t matter.”
When I first became a [E]kept woman, I couldn’t tell the difference between love and desire. I thought that because Alexander pampered me, it meant he loved me.
The first time Alexander treated me so roughly, I was upset and ignored him, “Alexander, you’re going too far!”
But Alexander didn’t do his usual comforting. He just coldly put out his cigarette and said, “If you don’t like it, leave.”
The second time, I didn’t dare to criticize. I trembled in fear, begging him to stop.
He told me to shut up and endure it.
After that, I learned my lesson.
I finally understood that, to Alexander, I was nothing more than a pet.
When he was happy, I was pampered; when he wasn’t, I was just an object for release. And I didn’t know when he would eventually grow tired of me and cast me aside.
But in the end, I was still a person, and I had to leave first.
I held onto Alexander tightly, allowing myself to be consumed by this ocean of emotions, but a tear slipped from the corner of my eye.
The next morning, when I woke up, Alexander was already gone.
Because of the international nature of his business, Alexander spent half of each month in New York City[根据这段已确认:女主是美国人,在英国留学]and the other half in London.
I opened my phone, and the sugar–baby group chats for international students had hundreds of messages from the night before.
Half of them were @ me.
I was a bit surprised and clicked in, only to see a video that had clearly been taken in secret.
Alexander was holding a woman’s hand. The woman bit down on his wrist, and although
Alexander frowned in pain, he didn’t let go.

The look in his eyes as he gazed at the woman was one I had never seen before–full of sadness and deep affection.
The bodyguards around them moved forward, but Alexander stopped them.
Then, he grabbed the woman’s chin and kissed her roughly.
