In the days that followed, Gordon personally applied the cream for her every night. A month later, the stretch marks had faded until they were nearly invisible.
Most women gained some weight during their postpartum recovery, but Caitlin didn't gain an ounce. In fact, her figure bounced back remarkably well.
After the first month, Beatrice, Keira, and Fortune consulted a calendar and chose a lucky day to host a celebration for the three babies.
The Sylvester and Gonzales families jointly threw a spectacular party that was the talk of the town.
With the celebration over, Caitlin focused on her postpartum rehabilitation. It was about more than just getting her figure back; childbirth can cause irreversible changes to the body. Organs shift, and in her case, carrying triplets meant the impact was even greater than usual. A trim figure was just the surface.
Another five months passed.
All through this period, Caitlin stuck faithfully to her herbal tonics and focused workouts. In the end, after checking herself over, she felt she'd pretty much gotten her pre-pregnancy body back.
As time went on, the three little ones grew more and more adorable. Every evening when Gordon came home, he would insist on feeding his daughter her bottle and putting her to sleep himself. He was utterly smitten.
He'd probably think it smelled like roses even if she peed on him.
One evening, he got home from work and, without even taking off his coat, rushed to scoop up his daughter. "Gemma, come to Daddy!"
Caitlin, sitting on the sofa, intercepted him. "Take off your coat and disinfect first."
Cold season was in full swing. Adults could handle it, but babies were vulnerable. It was a necessary precaution.
"Right, right. On it."
Gordon quickly shed his coat and held out his arms while a maid sprayed him down with sanitizing alcohol.
Once he was done, Gordon rubbed his hands together and went back for his daughter. He cradled her, first beaming at her like a fool, then nuzzling her cheek and kissing her forehead.
"Catie, look! Gemma's smiling at me!"
"My dear Gemma is so cute."
Caitlin, holding the two boys, deadpanned, "Jasper and Silas smiled at you just a minute ago, too."
"They did?" Gordon glanced over. "I didn't notice."
"Mr. Sylvester, could you try not to play favorites so obviously?" Caitlin teased, raising an eyebrow.

So happy for Carey, the reunion with her family is touching. Can we read more of Caitlin and Gordon? Readers are forgetting that Caitlin has a boyfriend by the way. Is it normal for their relationship to be erased in the storyline?...
Update please......
But where is Gordon?...
Great story, great author!...
