Olivia tapped the screen to answer. "Hello, Hailey."
Since she hadn't put the call on speaker, Rebecca couldn't make out what Hailey was saying.
In a flash, Olivia's expression hardened, and she rose to her feet. "What did you say, Hailey? You've been admitted to the hospital?"
Rebecca's heart began to race.
"I'm coming right away."
With that, Olivia ended the call and turned to leave.
Suddenly, Rebecca reached out and caught her arm. "Olivia, what's going on? Is Hailey okay?"
Olivia's expression was grim. "Hailey's been dealing with stomach pains today and is currently in the hospital. I'm going to visit her now."
"Let me go with you."
"It's fine. Hailey needs some space right now and doesn't want to see you. Please don't make things harder for her. I'll be on my way."
With those words, Olivia turned on her heel and left.
Rebecca stood frozen. How could she miss this dramatic turn of events? She needed to find out for herself what had really happened to Hailey.

Half an hour later, Rebecca arrived at the hospital. She approached a nurse and asked, "Excuse me, could you tell me which room Hailey Young is in?"
The nurse glanced at her and asked, "And what's your relationship to the patient?"
"I'm a close friend. We're classmates as well."

When will Hailey show that she is Adam's cousin and be ruthless? Joanne needs to be put in her place and realize Jonah does not want her. Ewan is just as bad as she is. Hailey needs to get help from Celine or Adam if she doesn't want Jonah to find out what's happening....
If the focus has to go on other characters in the book, at least make it more interesting! They were separated for three years, and still having love rivals! Especially one from the past!!! Why can’t Ewan and Joanne move in together and move on!!...
Imagine the long read if they decide to switch back to Adam and Celine. Not reading this with the same enthusiasm from the beginning....
How does anyone in their senses meet up with someone who almost hurt them and their unborn child. This author is dumb and needs to wrap this crap up. All of a sudden Hailey and kala are playing Celine and Carly's role as another character. Nonsense....
