When Nathan was done with work, he announced, "Alright. It's bedtime."
He and Michelle walked over to the bed. He wondered aloud, "So, what's the sleeping arrangement?"
She said, "You'll sleep on the outer side. I'll sleep on the other side."
He nodded. "Sure."
They lay in bed and tucked themselves in.
He asked again, "Shall we turn off the lights?"
"Yes."
He reached for the light switch, plunging the bedroom into darkness. However, he didn't drift to sleep right away, which was odd. He should have slept well on this massive bed in his own bedroom within the villa he owned.
It was all because he was sleeping next to a woman. Her soft breathing tingled his ears. His nose picked up the sweet vanilla scent on her body.
Nathan felt aroused. He tossed and turned for a while before whispering, "Hey, Mrs. Lynch?"
Michelle did not respond. Had she fallen asleep?
He was about to ask again when she flipped over and fell right into his arms.
His body stiffened and nearly went numb. Reaching out to turn on the wall light, he observed her face in his arms, illuminated by the soft glow. She was less aloof and more innocent when she was asleep.
Now, she had sleepily rolled into his arms, her soft body pressing against him. With only sheer fabric on their bodies, Nathan felt a rush of blood to his head. His body was screaming at him.
Swallowing hard, he croaked, "Mrs. Lynch?"

Thought Celine got pregnant before Hailey…..how come Celine is 3 months and Hailey 7?...
if there is already a surveillance video as evidence for the poisoning of Hailey, why go all the trouble of pretending? Celine is also pregnant right? What is happening to them, and what about Adam's headaches ......

When will Hailey show that she is Adam's cousin and be ruthless? Joanne needs to be put in her place and realize Jonah does not want her. Ewan is just as bad as she is. Hailey needs to get help from Celine or Adam if she doesn't want Jonah to find out what's happening....
If the focus has to go on other characters in the book, at least make it more interesting! They were separated for three years, and still having love rivals! Especially one from the past!!! Why can’t Ewan and Joanne move in together and move on!!...
Imagine the long read if they decide to switch back to Adam and Celine. Not reading this with the same enthusiasm from the beginning....
How does anyone in their senses meet up with someone who almost hurt them and their unborn child. This author is dumb and needs to wrap this crap up. All of a sudden Hailey and kala are playing Celine and Carly's role as another character. Nonsense....
Is this still story for Celine and Adam?...
