It had been a long time since Jonah and Hailey had been apart. At this youthful age, his needs were strong. After the brief contact with Hailey, it was inevitable that thoughts of desire would start to stir.
Just then, his phone buzzed.
Jonah pulled his phone out of his pocket, opened Instagram, and saw a follow request. The name on the request was "Little H".
Jonah raised an eyebrow. When did Hailey's Instagram handle change to Little H? Was she trying to act cute?
However, he couldn't deny that she was cute.
He accepted the follow request.
On the other side, Hannah was overjoyed. "It went through! Hailey, Jonah followed me on Instagram!"
It seemed that Jonah had followed Hannah back.
Hailey forced a smile and said, "Well, congratulations."
Hannah quickly typed, "I'm going to text Jonah now!"
She sent a direct message that read, "I like you."
Hannah was a bold and carefree young lady, so she openly confessed her feelings.
Jonah saw the message from Little H saying she liked him.
The heat he had tried to shake off earlier began to stir again, and he quickly responded.
Hannah eagerly checked her phone. "Jonah replied to me! Let's see what he said."
Hailey saw Jonah's reply. "How much do you like me?"
It was a playful, teasing response from a mature man in the face of a confession. It was the kind of thing that could make anyone blush.
Sure enough, Hannah's face flushed a bright red. She remembered Jonah from earlier in the living room–he had seemed so dignified and distant. He was definitely not the type to approach women.
Yet here he was, responding with a playful message, "How much do you like me?"
Hannah thought he was such a tease.
Hannah quickly replied, "Okay."
And just like that, Jonah and Hannah's date was set for tomorrow.
Hailey forced a smile and said, "Congratulations."
Hannah grinned. "Hailey, thank you! You're the one who brought me and Jonah together."
Hailey didn't know what to say in response.
Hannah continued, "I'm going to head out now. I need to prepare for tomorrow's date with Jonah."
With that, Hannah left.
Hailey stood frozen as a whirlwind of emotions raced through her.
Just then, Aileen ran in. "Hailey, what are you doing standing here alone? Let's go have dinner. Jonah made dinner."

When will Hailey show that she is Adam's cousin and be ruthless? Joanne needs to be put in her place and realize Jonah does not want her. Ewan is just as bad as she is. Hailey needs to get help from Celine or Adam if she doesn't want Jonah to find out what's happening....
If the focus has to go on other characters in the book, at least make it more interesting! They were separated for three years, and still having love rivals! Especially one from the past!!! Why can’t Ewan and Joanne move in together and move on!!...
Imagine the long read if they decide to switch back to Adam and Celine. Not reading this with the same enthusiasm from the beginning....
How does anyone in their senses meet up with someone who almost hurt them and their unborn child. This author is dumb and needs to wrap this crap up. All of a sudden Hailey and kala are playing Celine and Carly's role as another character. Nonsense....
