"Let's move now, Mr. Ewan! We can't afford to wait any longer!" Joanne said hurriedly.
Ewan replied, "After what happened last time, Hailey is more guarded than ever. Looks like we'll have to make use of Justin!"
Joanne thought for a moment before saying, "Justin is Jonah's closest friend. He's the perfect pawn to use against Hailey!"
Ewan laughed coldly. "Justin really trusts you. He never questioned you, not even once. But if he ever found out who you really are—"
Joanne cut him off before he could finish his sentence. "He'll never find out! He trusts me completely!"
"Alright," Ewan said. "Call him now and get him to ask Hailey out. We should start with Hailey first!"
Joanne smirked as she replied, "Alright."
She pulled out her phone and dialed Justin.
"Hey, Justin, you don't want Hailey to be with Jonah, right? She keeps hurting him again and again. We can't just sit back and let her drag him down any further. As his closest friend, we have to protect him!"
"Joanne, what exactly are you planning?" Justin asked.
Joanna replied, "Justin, here's what we'll do—call Hailey and ask her to meet up. Once she's there, we'll talk."
Justin replied, "Okay."

Jonah spent the whole day shopping with Hailey. They had even grabbed a bite to eat earlier.
With a smile, Hailey asked, "Mr. Pilsner, so you're all mine today? No need to go to the office?"
Jonah slid his arm around her waist and replied, "Not today. Today's just for you and the little one."
Hailey beamed with happiness.
Jonah asked, "Are you tired?"

If the focus has to go on other characters in the book, at least make it more interesting! They were separated for three years, and still having love rivals! Especially one from the past!!! Why can’t Ewan and Joanne move in together and move on!!...
Imagine the long read if they decide to switch back to Adam and Celine. Not reading this with the same enthusiasm from the beginning....
How does anyone in their senses meet up with someone who almost hurt them and their unborn child. This author is dumb and needs to wrap this crap up. All of a sudden Hailey and kala are playing Celine and Carly's role as another character. Nonsense....
