“Sorry, I need to take this,” he said, getting up quickly.

Dealing with the Nygard Group was never easy, but Victor had his principles and bottom lines when it came to filming.

The talk had hit a dead end anyway, so the call felt like a way out.

He slipped out of the room, breathing a quiet sigh of relief as he checked the screen.

It was Jeremy.

“Mr. Curran, what can I do for you?” he answered right away.

Jeremy wasn’t the kind of guy to call for small talk.

“Are you at Nygard Group?” The voice on the other end was calm and cold.

“Yeah, I’m here discussing the show with them,” Victor replied.

“Are they trying to push Gianna into the cast?”
