298 Feel Free to Join
Jeremy added, “Amelia thinks this way is way more fun.”
That last sentence was the key point.
As long as Amelia was happy, ratings didn’t matter to him at all. He couldn’t care less.
All he cared about was what she wanted and how she felt.
“Bring the Nygard brothers on the show too.”
That was Amelia’s idea as well.
He hung up right after saying it.
Victor had wanted to say more, but the call ended too quickly.
So that’s it? As long as Amelia’s happy, that’s all that matters? What if the whole show bombs?
Then, he thought about it for a second. If Gianna joined, people would definitely talk.
If she and Amelia joined together, plus the Nygard brothers and Vincent, there’d be no shortage of buzz o! drama.
Of course, that had to be Amelia’s idea.
She really understood how showbiz worked. She knew how to get attention and stir
Suddenly, Victor felt all his worries disappear, and his mood lifted completely.
Bringing Amelia in was, without a doubt, the smartest move he’d ever made.

excitement.
He practically floated back into the office, looking like he was about to whistle a tune.
“Sorry to keep you waiting.”
As soon as Victor sat down, Maxwell jumped straight into business.
“Mr. Cross, I get that this is our first time working together, but Gianna joining the show isn’t up for debate
“We’ll handle all the PR and marketing, so you don’t need to worry about any problems.
“Also, make sure Nygard Group gets plenty of exposure. We’re not letting the hype fade.”
Maxwell had clearly practiced his whole speech.
The three brothers had even come up with answers for every possible excuse Victor might use.
But instead of arguing, Victor just smiled and nodded. “Sure. Let’s go with your plan.”
Wait, what?

The Nygard brothers stared at him, stunned.
Maxwell and Miguel had already planned for every possible argument or pushback.
It turned out that all that prep was a waste of time.
“I was just thinking about it. Having Ms. Gianna on board will definitely draw more eyes to the show.
“In this industry, drama equals ratings, so your idea actually makes sense.
“I just got a little worked up earlier and didn’t think it through.”
Victor rushed to explain himself, afraid they’d think he was being flaky or indecisive.
Then, he quickly added, “Oh, and if any of you have some spare time, feel free to join the show too. You can keep an eye on Ms. Gianna.”
He still remembered Jeremy’s words. And honestly, he agreed. Having the Nygard brothers there would only make things livelier.
“No need for that. Vincent is already keeping an eye on Gianna.”
Maxwell was honestly scared by what Victor suggested.
Every time he’d taken her to a shoot or a contest, something always blew up.
Now, the thought of being on a show with her just made him uneasy.
Lately, Gianna had been complaining to their parents that Vincent was always busy with work and never spent time with her.
So, Emery wanted Vincent to join the show and even went to talk to Diana about it.
Diana totally supported the idea. She thought it would help the couple’s bond and make her son even more popular.
It seemed like a win for everyone.
So once Diana agreed, Vincent didn’t really have a choice either.
Victor was a distant relative of the Desters. If Vincent wanted to join, Victor would definitely help him out.
“That’s true, but there’s still one more slot,” Victor said. “It’d be great if you could send one more person.
“Most of the show is gonna be filmed at Nygard Group’s cultivation base anyway.
“You guys are all successful and good–looking. People would love to see what you’re really like off–screen.”
Victor was still following Jeremy’s order, trying to sound genuine while pushing his own motives.
Marcelo, the calmest and most calculating of the three brothers, caught on immediately.

He noticed how Victor’s attitude changed right after that phone call.
Whoever was on the other end must’ve told him what to do–probably Amelia.
Even if it wasn’t her, it had to be Jeremy.
Jeremy’s wishes always lined up with Amelia’s anyway.
Marcelo saw the whole picture, but he didn’t say anything. Instead, he casually turned to his brothers and said, “Yeah, it makes sense to have someone keep an eye on Gianna. She always ends up stirring things up on these shows.
“Miguel, you’re the most reliable, and since you’ve been looking after her lately, you should go with her.”
