The Heiress They Couldn't Break (Amelia) novel Chapter 345

Chapter 345 The Suspicious Address

The contrast was too much to take!

Who is this womany

How long has this been going on?

Emery felt the woman looked familiar, like she’d seen her somewhere, but she couldn’t remember where. But then again, maybe she was a stranger.

Raymond was always known as a good man, and he never had any scandals.

He always treated her well. She never once suspected he had a mistress outside.

Now it felt like she had been kept in the dark this whole time!

“What if someone’s just jealous and trying to break us apart?” Emery muttered to herself.

She couldn’t believe her perfect husband would do something like this.

Right then, her phone vibrated again.

She got another message.

“Mrs. Nygard, if you don’t believe it’s true, why not make a surprise visit to the villa in the suburbs?”

The message even included the exact address.

At this point, Emery couldn’t pretend she didn’t see it anymore. Even if she wanted to ignore it, she couldn’t.

Her body trembled uncontrollably. Her legs gave way, and she fell onto the edge of the bed.

“No. I don’t believe this. I have to check it myself. I have to clear my husband’s name!”

Emery kept muttering to herself, determined to check it out personally.

She was sure someone was trying to stir up trouble, and she was going to expose the lie!

Little did she know, the one making trouble was her own daughter, Amelia.

After sending the messages from a burner phone, Amelia sạt back, ready to watch the show.

She wasn’t targeting the Nygard couple for no reason; it was time Emery learned a few things.

This time, she wasn’t planning to let Gianna and Regina get away with it.

Since Regina wanted attention so badly now, Amelia was happy to give her a push.

Meanwhile…

Emery secretly rushed to the address the mysterious person had sent her.

She wanted to know if the woman living there was her husband’s mistress.

If the woman in that house was the woman in the photos, then she could basically confirm her husband was keeping a mistress.

This area was known in their rich circle as the place where wealthy men kept their mistresses.

Usually, the wives just turned a blind eye; very few actually made a scene.

They knew making a fuss would only make things worse, so they rarely showed up to confront anyone.

Emery wasn’t planning to make a scene. She just wanted to do a surprise check and see with her own eye.

No matter what the answer was, she didn’t plan to scream and fight here.

After mentally preparing herself, she went straight to the door.

She stood at the entrance, took a deep breath, and pressed the doorbell.

While waiting, she noticed her heart pounding. She looked calm, but her palms were sweating from how nervous she was.

A moment later, the door opened.

Standing there was a face she knew all too well!

Emery froze, all her mental preparation gone in an instant.

“Raymond, why are you here?”

Who did she just see?

Her most trusted husband-Raymond!

What did this mean?

Didn’t this basically prove her suspicions?

“Honey? Why are you here?”

“What am I doing here? Shouldn’t I be asking you that?!”

Emery had told herself she’d just take a look, confirm the truth, and not make a scene like a madwoman.

But seeing her husband right there in front of her, she lost it. She rushed at him, ready to scratch his face!

Anger, shock, heartbreak-all of it hit her at once.

“What are you doing? Showing up out of nowhere and causing a scene?”

Raymond grabbed her hand and sounded annoyed.

“Someone told me you were hiding a woman here-and here you are!

“Tell me the truth. Where is she? When did you start keeping a woman behind my back?”

Facing her repeated accusations, Raymond put on an innocent face and fired back, “I don’t have a mistress. Someone is trying to turn you against me.”

“Don’t lie to me! Then why are you here?”

“I own this place. Is it weird for me to stop by?” Raymond said with full confidence.

“You bought a property here? Why didn’t I know about it?”

Emery stared at him with doubt and didn’t back down.

“Isn’t this the place where all those rich men hide their mistresses? I heard James keeps several women

here!”

“That’s him, not me. I bought this place to transfer it to Gianna. Miguel is handling the paperwork.”
