Chapter 246 – Magical Kisses
–LIA’S POV–

The next morning, we all gathered together once more, including the Hounds, Sapphire and Christy as well. Zane and I wanted to see how much everyone remembered, and what effect the command had. No new deaths were reported yet, and Zane had stayed in touch with Blake to make sure everything was fine.
“What’s going on?” Christy was first to ask, glancing around at everyone, gaze lingering at Sapphire. “What exactly are we here for?”
“Nothing much, just catching up,” I replied, sitting beside her. I cautiously put an arm around her, trying to gauge her reaction. She showed none, which seemed like a good sign.
“Ohkay,” she said slowly, eyes narrowing at me.
“What’s up?” I asked. “How are things with Nathan? Were you two together last night?”
“Nathan’s great,” she said, a smile instantly taking over her lips. “He had a test today, so we spent the night apart. But otherwise, things are incredible.”
“Did you notice anything weird last night?” Zane asked. “I felt like the weather was odd.”

Christy frowned. “No. I think it was fine. Nothing out of the ordinary.”
I bit my lip. “Chris,” I said softly. “Do you remember what I
am?”

She raised a brow. “Of course. Is that something someone can forget?”
I released a breath. “But you don’t remember hearing my voice last night?”
“No, did you call me?”
I pulled her into a hug, kissing the side of her head.
“Wow, okay. I love you too,” she muttered, tapping my back.
I pulled away with a grin, then turned to the others. “What about all of you? Did you guys hear anything?”
“Warner and I know,” Sapphire said, crossing her arms.
I glanced at Ajax, Sheila and Aaron.
They exchanged glances. “We remember something happened. You said The Order was dying because of some command you gave,” Sheila replied. “We set out to search for them to try and save them. But then you called us back and said everything was handled.”

“What command are we talking about?” Aaron asked.
“You don’t remember?” Zane asked.
Aaron slowly shook his head.
“Are we missing something?” Ajax asked.

“What do you think happened on the night of the Blood Moon?” Zane asked.
“The Order attacked you. Then Lia’s magic took over. The ground rose. Then The Order left.”
“Why did they leave?” I asked.
“Probably because they were scared?” Ajax said.
“Or they chose… peace,” Sheila shrugged.
I sighed and leaned my head on Zane’s shoulder.
“Warner,” Zane said. “Let’s talk alone. Sapphire, you can come.”
“What exactly happened?” I asked, as soon as it was just the four of us. “Why did they forget about the Blood Moon command but you guys didn’t? Zane didn’t forget either.”

“Probably because we were there, watching you give the command that overrode the last one,” Sapphire replied. “Like I said, curses are like entities. They affect different people in different ways. Sometimes, even a person’s interpretation
matters.”
“So if someone from The Order interpreted my words differently, they won’t be affected? They could still kill themselves?”
“No,” she replied. “You were pretty damn clear on that part. So the members of The Order have no room for interpretation. But for everyone else, it’s open–ended. They don’t know what you’re talking about or what exactly you mean. So it affects them differently. The good thing is, everyone seems to have forgotten all about the commands you gave.”
“Are we sure that’s a good thing?” I asked.
“Yes. This way, there won’t be questions or serious repurcussions.”
I slowly nodded, then glanced at Zane. “Are you gonna tell Aaron, Sheila and Ajax?”
“You should,” Warner said. “They’re the Hounds. They deserve to know.”
Zane nodded. “Aaron is my Beta. I can’t hide it from him.”

“That won’t cause problems, right?” I asked, looking at Sapphire.
“It shouldn’t,” she shrugged.
“But it could?”
Sapphire smiled, walking up to me. “For a goddess, you’re really kind. Here Warner was worried you were planning on world–domination.”
