A few minutes later Cillian came back before he lifted me up bridal style in his arms.

“Come Baby girl, let’s get your feet on solid ground.” Cillian said smiling down at me and kissed my forehead again.

I just leaned back against his chest pretending I feel absolutely shitty.

(A/N: I do not know what the area around there looks like, I had to just search up something on google. So for the area around its all just

made up.)

Cillian carried me above deck and then he walked off the boat.

He kept walking a little bit longer until we was off the dock.

I very weakly looked around and saw it was some trees and houses around.

I saw it was a few places we could sit so I will got a plan.

*Cillian, I just need to feel solid ground under my own feet and sit down, please.” I said weakly looking up at him and he looked at me with worry and concern written all over his face.

“Of course, but be careful with your wounds Baby girl.” He said looking at me still with concern on his face and I nodded.

Cillian put me gently down and as soon as my feet hit the ground and he let go of me I faked a fall.

“Oh my god Baby girl are you okay?” Cillian asked worried, quickly bending down to help me up.

“Yes I just need to sit down I think.” I said looking at him with sad eyes.

He gently helped me up and guided me to the chair to sit down on.

When I was sitting down I just groaned and placed my arms on the table and rested my forhead on my arms.

“Stay here Baby girl, I will go and get you something to drink.” Cillian said and I simply nodded my face down on the table.

As soon as Cillian have walked away about 20 meters I took off sprinting toward the trees.

My thighs were burning from the wounds but I had to take my chance.

I heard shouts behind me telling me to stop. But I just kept running as fast as my legs would carry me.

Chapter 228.

I have gotten a good head start, and right now I’m just thanking heaven that I’m actually able to be as fast as I am.

I ran deeper into the wounds surrounding the area and the trees are getting a bit more dense around me.

I looked behind me and I couldn’t see anyone right now. So I quickly found a tree thick enough to climb and hide in.

I climbed as high as I could then found a thick branch I could rest on.

I think I sat there for about 5 minutes just to catch my breath, then I heard people running below me on the ground.

I saw it was all Cillians men, but it didn’t take long after that until I heard gunshots.

“Okay, i assume it’s you guys that’s here shooting at Cillians men. I’m hiding about 20-25 meter up in a tree.” I whispered praying that

someone is listening to me right now.

“Baby girl, where the fuck are you?” I heard Cillian shout angry.

I carefully looked over the edge of the branch I’m sitting on, and I see Cillian and some of his guards holding a gun ready walking

carefully around under me.

“If anyone of you hear this, Cillian is right under me and have about 7 guards with him.” I whispered again.

A few minutes later again the gunshots started to sound closer, I saw Cillian and his guards took cover behind trees around me.

Then I saw some of Cillians other men that past me earlier come running back from the way they came from.

Some of them injured but still looked behind them shooting.

I see more of Cillians men that have taken cover around me started to get wounded as more shots were fired.

Then I saw Cillian get shot in the chest, and his men started to panic.

Then grabbed their boss and started to drag him away from here towards the way we came.

“I’m not leaving with my baby girl.” Cillian shouted angry to his men while he tried to trash out of their grips,

“Boss, we have to go out they will will you.” One of his men shouted back.

“TALIA I WILL COME FOR YOU! YOU ARE MINE! YOU BELONG YO ME!” Cillian shouted before he cooperated with his men to get out of

there.

I waiting a few more minutes before I slowly started to climb down the tree.

And the second my feet hit the ground and before I was able to reach since my hands and legs were busy I was engulfed in a tight hug.

Chapter 228.

I immediately recognized the scent of the cologne, and i wrapped my arms around his neck tightly.

“Oh my god it’s so good to see you again.” I said started to cry into his chest and warm embrace.

I got you Bambina, you are safe now.” He said into my neck tighten his arms around me.

He then lifted me up in his arms bridal style but didn’t break the hug and started to walk from the direction he came from.

I just cried my heart out into his chest. I can’t believe my crazy stupid weak ass plan actually worked.

I pulled away from the hug just resting my head against his chest looking up at my brother seeing him already smiling down at me with

tears in his eyes as well.

“Thank you Luke, thank you for finding me.” I said started to cry again hiding my face in his chest.

“You know I will go to hell and back for you Bambina. You are and will always be the most important one for me.” Luke said lifting me up for another hug while still walking out of the woods.

It was a bit of a stretch to walk. And I feel so exhausted and drained, that after a little I had cried myself to sleep in Luke’s arms.

I know I’m safe, I know Luke won’t let anything happen to me. He is one of my biggest protectors and I trust him with my life.

Even though Cillian may have gotten away this time, we will be ready when he comes again.

And next time, I will have the force of my entire family behind me and Cillian will be gone for good.

I just let sleep and darkness take over, because I know I’m safe and where I belong.

And this also show just how much my family and friends truly care. They have shown I can without a doubt put all my trust in them.

I trusted in them to come and save me, and save me they did.
