The Mafia Princess Return (Talia) novel Chapter 243

Chapter 243.

Theo’s perspective.

Alongside the rest of the families, Talia’s men and guards stood vigilant in the observation room. Our interrogation chambers were equipped with numerous cameras, providing us with a comprehensive view from every angle. We could see everything unfolding in real time.

Listening to Talia’s plan, I had to admit—it was a clever strategy.

“If you’re certain, Bambina, I trust your judgment completely. If you don’t sense any ill will from them toward you or our families, you have my full approval,” Leon said firmly, his expression serious.

“Thank you. You may leave now,” Talia replied softly, a faint smile curving her lips as she looked at Leon. He returned the smile with a nod before exiting the room.

Once Leon was gone, Talia turned to face the three men.

“So, what do you say? Are you willing to work for me and the mafias allied with me instead of Cillian?” she asked, raising one eyebrow inquisitively.

“Yes,” all three responded immediately and in unison, which brought a subtle smile to Talia’s face.

“Bring them down,” she instructed Tyler and Alan, who nodded and carefully lowered the men to the floor.

“Can you three tell me your names?” Talia asked as they began rotating their shoulders to ease the stiffness.

“I’m Tommy Doyle, 27 years old, princess,” Tommy said. His short, mousy blond hair framed a face with walnut brown eyes, a straight nose that turned slightly upward, and a muscular build standing about 187 cm tall.

“I’m Vargues McCarthy, 29 years old, princess,” Vargues added with a smile. His sun-blond hair was cropped short, and his sea-green eyes sparkled above a small button nose. He, too, was muscular and stood around 185 cm.

“And I’m Gabriel O’Sullivan, 28 years old, princess,” Gabriel said with a grin. His short hazel brown hair complemented amber eyes and a turned-up nose, and he was muscular, standing approximately 183 cm tall.

“Thank you. It’s good to officially meet you all. Are you willing to point out others you know we can trust—and those we cannot?” Talia inquired, and the three men nodded in agreement.

“Excellent. Let’s head to the observation room. You can watch the footage of all our prisoners in their cells and help us identify who might join us and who we need to eliminate,” Talia said with a firm tone. The three men nodded once more.

Together, the seven of them left the cell, and we knew they were on their way. Our tech team ensured that every prisoner’s cell was displayed on the screens, ready for Talia and her new allies to analyze.

Shortly after, Talia and the men arrived. As she entered, everyone greeted the mafia princess respectfully.

Tommy, Vargues, and Gabriel scanned the monitors, pointing out which prisoners were loyal to Talia’s side and which were not.

Among the 23 prisoners, seven remained loyal to Cillian. Talia scrutinized the three men carefully to confirm their honesty, and when she nodded, we knew they were telling the truth.

The seven loyal to Cillian were separated into individual cells. The others received medical attention—wounds cleaned and dressed—and were given food. Talia began with one in particular.

“This one,” she said, her gaze sweeping over us before settling on a screen showing a man alone in a cell, loyal to the Irish faction.

“Yes, princess,” we all responded together, though none of us wanted Talia to face this. Still, we couldn’t disobey her orders.

No matter how much I wished I could simply whisk her away from here, take her home to rest—because she looked utterly exhausted—I knew I couldn’t intervene.
