The moment had arrived—the mafia princess was back.

As I settled into the lively atmosphere, I couldn’t help but notice the playful exchanges between Carter and Talia. Their laughter filled the air like the warm sun above us. The way they shared those sweet, teasing kisses was enough to elicit exaggerated groans from their blood brothers, which only made the rest of us burst into laughter.

We often maintained a certain decorum around others, keeping our affection in check, but when it was just us, it was impossible to suppress our urges.

After a short while, I strolled over to the tanning bed where Carter and Talia were lounging. “Tesoro, can I get some cuddles?” I asked, my voice light and playful, a smile dancing on my lips. Talia glanced up at Carter, seeking his approval. He responded with a gentle kiss on her forehead, loosening his embrace. With a soft grace, she shifted over, settling herself between my legs, leaning back against my chest.

Wrapping my arms around her, I pulled her closer, planting a tender kiss on her head. The moment felt perfect, and as I kissed her, she tilted her head back slightly, inviting me to press my lips against hers.

I tasted her sweetness as I licked her lower lip, and she parted them willingly, allowing me to explore the depths of her mouth with my tongue. The collective groans from her blood brothers echoed around us, and Talia pulled away just enough to smirk at them.

“Just turn around, and you won’t see anything,” she teased, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “Or do you want us to take this to the bedroom, where things could get a lot more heated?” The shock on her brothers’ faces was priceless; they quickly covered their eyes, eliciting more laughter from the rest of us.

“That’s what I thought,” Talia said, still smirking. “So be grateful it’s just kissing.” She looked back at me, placing a hand behind my neck and pulling me back down to her lips once more.

“I love you, Tesoro,” I murmured, gazing deeply into her eyes, my heart swelling with affection for my girl.

“I love you too, babe,” she replied, her voice soft and sincere. I claimed her lips again, savoring the moment a little longer before reluctantly pulling away. We both settled into the tanning bed, basking in the sun’s warmth.

It felt incredible to simply enjoy some quality time with her. Moments like this were rare; between our busy lives and the chaos surrounding us, it was hard to find time to just be together, aside from when we were sleeping. Yet, I had no regrets about falling head over heels for her. She was the most beautiful thing that had ever happened to me—and to the other five.

We spent the afternoon lounging by the pool, the laughter and camaraderie flowing freely until it was time for dinner. Just before heading inside, we changed out of our swimwear, the sun’s rays still warming our skin.

**8:37 AM, Monday, November 24**

Dinner was a lively affair, filled with chatter and the clinking of plates. Talia was radiant, her laughter infectious as she interacted with everyone. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as we discussed the upcoming plans.

“I heard that Tom, Vereyes, and Gabriel are meeting with Tate to discuss the situation with Santiago and Talia,” I mentioned, glancing around the table.
