The Mischievous Doctor (Finnegan and Nuthana) novel Chapter 436

Two days later, the typhoon had passed, and Jadeborough had returned to its lively state.

Early in the morning, after Finnegan had finished his breakfast and was about to leave, a car drove straight into the garden and skidded to a halt in front of the villa.

Upon seeing the license plate, the elite members of the Wahlstrom family decisively averted their gaze, acting as if they hadn't seen it.

The car door swung open, and out jumped Waylynn, her curves impressively outlined by a pair of tight jeans paired with a white shirt.

“Are you leaving?”

Finnegan glanced at the time. It had just passed eight o'clock.

He looked at Waylynn. “Have you been showing up in front of me more often lately?”

A few days ago, she had come looking for him because of the Gallagher family, and now she was here early in the morning.

Waylynn pouted. “What's wrong with finding you more often? Many people wish I would find them. Moreover, it was Grandpa who sent me to find you. He wanted me to tell you some good news, and some bad news!”

Upon hearing that it was Nathan who sent her, Finnegan turned and said, “Let's talk inside.”

Returning to the hall and taking a seat, Finnegan gestured and said, “Let's start with the good news. It will put me in a better mood.”

Waylynn sat down directly, crossing her legs without a hint of a ladylike demeanor.

“The good news is that my grandpa has already taken care of everything regarding Regi Group for you, from top to bottom. All you need to do is find a proxy shareholder, and then no one will be able to trace back to you as the hidden boss.”

Finnegan grunted in acknowledgment. “And the bad news?”

Speaking of bad news, Waylynn put her legs down and sat up straight.

This caught Finnegan's attention, and he couldn't help but glance at her as she continued, “Originally, Hank was supposed to come to Jadeborough early next month, but today the Jadeborough city council received a notice. Hank, who should have gone to Jipsdale first, will arrive in Jadeborough in five days!”

Finnegan raised an eyebrow. “That's quite early.”

According to his expectations, Hank would come to Jadeborough early, but it would still take another ten days or so.

However, the fact that it was going to happen in five days was somewhat beyond Finnegan's expectations.

Waylynn said, “My grandpa speculates that the reason Hank is coming early is due to the situation with Tyrone. He's worried that after the Wahlstrom family consolidates Jadeborough, they will crush the Zymons family completely.”

Finnegan acknowledged and stood up, “So be it then.”

“Aren't you afraid?

“Why the hell should I be afraid?”

Seeing Finnegan's completely nonchalant demeanor, Waylynn said, “Even though I haven't seen Hank since the burn incident, I still know him quite well. He's the type who either doesn't act at all or when he does, he strikes decisively!”

Finnegan asked, “Did your grandpa say anything else?”

“No, just to come here and tell you.”

Finnegan shrugged his shoulders and walked out. “If your grandpa isn't worried, why are you? Vixen, escort me to Jerome Medical Clinic.”

Alisha, who couldn't get a word in, nodded to Waylynn. “Ms. Wright, we'll be leaving now.”

“Wait up!”

However, Waylynn stopped her.

Alisha, who only acted like a vixen in front of Finnegan, asked, “Ms. Wright, is there something you need?”

Seeing that Finnegan had already left, Waylynn moved closer to Alisha, whispering, “Alisha, I know why your grandfather arranged for you to be by Finnegan's side. But there are some things you need to understand. Finnegan is not someone you can pine for!”

With that, she patted Alisha's shoulder. “To put it simply, although the Wahlstrom family is powerful, you're not reputable. Understand?”

Alisha's expression stiffened as she hadn't expected Waylynn to warn her like this.

Wasn't it more appropriate for Bernice to say these things?

But after Waylynn spoke, she walked away. “Finnegan, let Ms. Wahlstrom rest. I'll escort you to Jerome Medical Clinic.”

Alisha furrowed her brows, feeling a hint of helplessness.

Hmm?

As he spoke, Lauren approached, extending her fair, delicate hand with a coquettish smile. “Hello, Mr. Larkin.”

Finnegan shook her hand briefly, only to discover that Lauren was discreetly teasing his hand with her fingers, her eyes carrying a suggestive gleam.

Her eyes carried a hint of suggestive allure.

Finnegan's heart stirred slightly, and he withdrew his hand with a bit more force. “Mr. Frankie Gallagher, may I know the purpose of your visit? If it's about treating your father, please refrain from asking.”

“Hahaha...”

Frankie laughed heartily. “Mr. Larkin, you really have a sense of humor. Let's sit down and talk.”

The group moved to the pavilion, and Finnegan and Frankie took their seats.

A look of apology immediately appeared on the latter's face. “Mr. Larkin, I've heard about the conflict between you and my father. My father and my nieces and nephews are really foolish!”

Finnegan said indifferently, “Mr. Frankie Gallagher, please speak your mind.”

He certainly didn't want to get overly entangled with a wolf in sheep's clothing like Frankie.

Frankie was taken aback.

It seemed he didn't expect Finnegan to be so indifferent.

However, Frankie quickly regained his smile, “I'll get straight to the point then. I hope you can treat my father. If you're willing, name your terms!”

He paused before adding, “However, there might be some conditions that I can only fulfill once I become the head of the Gallagher family.”

Hearing that, Finnegan looked at Frankie, then glanced at Lauren, who had been sending him suggestive glances.

He had a vague inkling of what was happening.

A smirk played on his lips. “I've often heard that top-tier aristocratic families lack familial bonds, only interests and futures. Today, I seem to be experiencing it.”

As the expressions on the faces of Frankie and his daughter subtly changed, Finnegan teasingly asked, “If I'm not mistaken, you two secretly came to Jadeborough, didn't you? Was your intention to persuade me before Maxim in order to win your father's favor and have the Gallagher family handed over to you?”
