Willow brushed her hair up in a ponytail and left a few strands to frame her face. She then took a strand of hair to cover the hair tie holding her hair.
Slowly she took off the white tee to reveal her outfit which consisted of a dark silver shaded loose metallic tank with spaghetti straps. To pair with it, she wore black skinny jeans.
Willow didn't know what footwear to wear. Should she wear a pair of sneakers? She did have a black one and it would be easy for her to run if the neighbors were to call the police. She had even worn the metallic tank to avoid being injured if someone were to start firing up. Better safe than sorry, this was after all her first party. She had even pack up a bottle of water and some food to avoid eating or drinking food which are always spiked in the movies and also bagged up pepper spray which wasn't real pepper spray but deodorant which smelled different than it did in Victoria's Secret, but she liked to call it pepper spray. This might be her first party but she had read enough books and watched enough movies to know about parties.
In the end she picked up her black two inched black block heels. Just when she was strapping the shoe on her left leg, a car honked outside and her phone which was already in her bag went off. Melody.
She didn't get a coat since it wasn't chilly outside, even though summer was about to end, it was still warm outside. She grabbed a perfume and sprayed it behind her ears and on her wrist before leaving.
To go out, she had to cross over from the living room, she hoped that Rowan had declined at all cost. She got out of her room and surprise of surprises! Not.
Felix and Rowan were seated on the couch leisurely and Venice was talking with Natasha who had just arrived.
Willow rushed to the door hoping that no one will be able to see her, but fate wasn't on her side. It never is to begin with.
"Willow! I see you sneaking out." Yelled Felix gaining everyone's attention.
Willow glared at him. "Why are you so slow? Get up. We're leaving." She said, making it sound as if it wasn't her plan to ditch Felix and Rowan.
Willow opened the door to the JR's car, which was parked outside. Melody was sitting in the passenger seat beside turned around to glare at Rowan who was getting in.
"Why are they here?" Asked Melody just as Felix said, "Why are you here?"
"Hey aren't you the guy outside Smol Bean? The one who hugged Willow?" Said JR staring at Rowan.
Melody turned back in her seat, facing the front.
Willow caught Rowan staring at her from the corner of her eyes. Turning to him, she smiled at him hoping at he didn't notice the exchange between her and Melody.
Rowan's face was blank. He turned back to waiting the the houses flash by. A lump formed up in Willow's throat. That is how it's been for a while. It was as if the Rowan she once knew all this time was just putting up an act. Gone was the boy she knew for more than a week.
It hurt, when she was met with this behavior of his. For the past week, she had been trying to talk to him but he had either avoided it or only gave short replies, making it obvious he wanted to end the conversation. It had been the worst week of her life, she felt like she was back to the first day of her sophomore year. Back when Hunter had confronted her. Back when all of her friends started leaving her, back when she became a sheep for those wolves to eat. Or more like to dominate over.
Since Willow was stuck in the middle, she couldn't lean forward on the front seat to hide from the world, so she had to lean back on her seat and shut her eyes. Her hand griping her sling bag tightly.
She reasoned with herself that she shouldn't cry over this, on top of that she even had makeup on her face, but it was all it was all in vain since she felt the tears gaining behind her eyelids. She breathed in deeply, calming her raging heart and her reddened eyes.
