Time-Limited Love: A Contract Expired, Not Renewed novel Chapter 130

Every so-called reporter here seemed more interested in stirring up drama than asking real questions. Their words were sharp-edged and biased, showing no hint of professional integrity.

Zinnia glanced at the logos on their microphones. As expected, they were from those trashy tabloid sites—hardly reputable news outlets.

Being surrounded like this was starting to get on her nerves.

She couldn’t help noticing that whenever anything involved Landon, bad luck seemed to find her without fail.

That familiar wave of irritation tightened in her chest.

She pressed her fingers to her temple, trying to steady herself.

“This is a hospital. You need to leave immediately. You're disturbing other patients,” Zinnia said coldly.

She didn’t want innocent people getting dragged into her mess.

But her words only seemed to embolden the swarm of reporters.

“Dr. Quinn, are you dodging our questions because you’ve got something to hide?” one called out.

“So the rumors online are true? Did you really try to break up someone’s marriage?”

Zinnia’s eyes flashed with impatience.

She leveled a steady gaze at the smirking faces crowding her way and said, “As for the patient’s sudden complications, we’ll give the family a full explanation. Any other so-called ‘exposés’ are pure fabrication.”

By this point, patients arriving for appointments had started to gather, pausing in the corridor to see what was happening.

“I'm asking you again—please leave. You're interfering with medical work,” Zinnia insisted.

But these reporters had no intention of letting her go. After all, someone was paying them to create a scandal—why would they back down now?

“Where’s security? Why haven’t these troublemakers been thrown out yet?” Zephyr barked.

The reporters bristled at being called “troublemakers.” They didn’t know Zephyr’s full background—just thought he was the hospital director—so they weren’t exactly intimidated.

“So you’re Zephyr—the man from the stories online? Are you here to protect Dr. Quinn?”

“Is it true what they say online? Are you really covering up for her?”

They shoved their microphones practically in his face, refusing to back down.

Zephyr’s patience snapped. “Medical issues are for the clinical team to decide. I don’t need a bunch of ignorant loudmouths telling me how to do my job.”

He glanced over the reporters, his scorn unmistakable. “And just for the record—even tabloid reporters should learn a thing or two before they come here embarrassing themselves in public. I don’t cover up for my students. I stand up for them.”

The group of unscrupulous reporters flushed red with anger, but for once, they were at a loss for words.
