Right now, the Jensen household was in complete chaos.
“How could this happen? Didn’t Landon have all the videos taken down? Why are they back online?”
Juniper Jensen stared at the vicious online comments, her face pale and tight with panic as she watched Infinity Structures Inc.’s official account get flooded with hate. It was as if the entire internet had turned against them.
Noelle sat in stunned silence, her eyes fixed on the comments praising Landon for fiercely defending his wife. Her expression twisted with fear and disbelief.
But Juniper understood better than anyone—they were finished.
Rosalie’s abuse had only been directed at a dog, which, at worst, was a moral failing. But once Dapper’s connection to Landon became public, everything changed.
That was Landon’s dog—he’d admitted as much, even calling Dapper his “little brother-in-law.” This wasn’t just about a person hurting an animal anymore.
Now, it was Infinity Structures Inc. going toe-to-toe with the Ford Group.
On the surface, Landon’s actions looked like he was punishing Rosalie. But Juniper knew Landon would never let Infinity Structures Inc. off that easily.
Anyone with half a brain could see what was really happening. The business partners who had only kept working with Infinity Structures Inc. because of Landon were already preparing to cut ties the moment their contracts expired.
As Juniper watched the company’s stock price plunge, her face turned completely ashen.
“It’s over.”
She collapsed onto the couch, her lips trembling.
If she’d known that dog was connected to Landon, she’d have rather punished Rosalie herself than let her lay a finger on it.
They had been foolish enough to believe that Landon would always protect the Jensen family for Noelle’s sake.
But Rosalie had barely been taken away for a day before the video and her identity were exposed to the world.
It all happened so quickly—Juniper was certain Landon had orchestrated it.
“He’s… he’s abandoning us.”
The thought made her lips tremble even harder, her entire face ghostly white.
“Are you still dreaming? Look at what’s happening!”
“Dad…”
“We’re about to go bankrupt!”
Juniper’s eyes were bloodshot as he shouted at Noelle.
The word “bankrupt” sent a wave of terror through her.
“Dad, please calm down. We’ve worked with the Ford Group on so many projects—if they really cancel everything, the penalty fees alone would be enormous. There’s no way they’d just throw all that away. Not over a dog.”
Noelle hadn’t told Juniper about the message she’d sent Zinnia.
And she definitely wasn’t about to admit that Landon’s all-out assault on Infinity Structures Inc. was because of what she’d done.
So she could only blame it all on her mother, for mistreating that wretched mutt.
