Too Good for You The Ex-Wife You Lost novel Chapter 61

"Noelle, I can't believe you're back on the track again. I honestly thought you'd never race after what happened," Maggie said with a sigh.

Ever since Noelle's accident, she had never driven again. That crash had taken both of her parents' lives.

The accident had left wounds that ran deep. Most people thought she would never race again, but against all odds, Noelle stepped back onto the track just six years later.

Noelle gave a bitter smile. "I just want to slowly find the parts of myself that I lost."

For the past six years, she had lived for Clifford and Zayne. Not a single day had truly belonged to her. Now, she wanted to live for herself.

Maggie clinked her glass against Noelle's. "I believe in you. After all, you're unbeatable."

Only those who truly knew Noelle understood how formidable she was. For someone that strong to rein in her temper for the sake of marriage spoke volumes about how much she valued family.

"I heard Hunter is your coach now," Maggie teased. "Noelle, don't you feel anything for him?"

Back then, Maggie had been a poor college student. It was Noelle who gave her the funds to start her business and chase her dreams. From then on, she regarded Noelle as an older sister. Naturally, she cared about Noelle's love life as well.

Noelle gave a helpless look. "You know he's my coach. What could I possibly feel for him?"

Maggie wanted to press the subject, but Noelle cut her off. "Alright, that's enough. Let's talk about something else. It's not like I can't live without a man."

Maggie could only let the matter go, though in her heart she felt a pang of pity for Hunter. He had admired Noelle for so many years, and now that she was finally divorced, Noelle cared only about her career and had no plans to consider romance. It was truly a pity.

After three days and two nights of filming, Divine Group's commercial was finally completed. Since the latter part of the shoot went smoothly, they even finished ahead of schedule, which meant everyone had an extra day before returning to the training camp.

Since it was such a rare chance to have some free time, everyone decided to go out and have fun for a whole day before returning to the training camp.

However, Noelle remembered that she had promised someone she would help with car modifications, so she had no intention of returning to camp just yet.

She sent Albert her location, and before long, he personally came with a team to pick her up.

Jenna's eyes lit up with excitement. "So, this is the mythical car!"

Jayden added, "The foreign dealers wanted to buy the modified Rella, but the owner refused. They said they would only sell it if the foreign manufacturers admitted their own cars were garbage. Of course, that would never happen, which is why the modifications of the Rella remain a complete mystery."

Jenna's jaw dropped. "Wait, are you telling me the owner of this car is the one who came to pick up Ms. Quinn?"

Noelle was truly amazing. How could she bring such a legendary car in person to pick her up?

Felix shook his head regretfully. "It's too bad they left so quickly. We didn't get a chance to take pictures; otherwise, I would have admired that legendary modified car up close."

The Flame Speed Racing team was chatting happily. Hazel couldn't get a word in and quietly rolled her eyes before walking away.

"A modified Rella, my foot," she thought.

It was clear to her that Noelle was just putting on a show, trying to act like a big shot in front of everyone.
