Too Late, Mr. Cooper: Your Bride Ran with Your Baby novel Chapter 128

“If you're angry and want to use this as some kind of punishment, fine,” Linton said, his gaze lowered. “I can tolerate you acting out for a while, but... when you’ve had enough and calmed down, just remember to come back.”

He felt he’d already made more than enough concessions. A bitter feeling churned in his gut, but he forced it down, allowing Liliana to find another man just to provoke him.

He could ignore it. As long as she could vent her anger and was willing to return to him, he could endure it.

Liliana let out a soft laugh. “Then Mr. Cooper can wait forever. You can wait until hell freezes over, and I still won’t come back!” With that, she ignored Linton's reaction and pulled Liam away.

Liam’s lips curved into an ambiguous smirk. He lifted his gaze, glancing at Linton with a provocative air. His thin lips moved, silently mouthing the words.

“Mr. Cooper... thank you.”

Linton’s expression changed abruptly. He tried to hold back, but he couldn't. He couldn't stand watching Liliana leave with another man, abandoning him.

With a sudden roar of movement, Linton’s face darkened as he strode forward. He grabbed Liam by the shoulder, balled his hand into a fist, and swung hard at his face.

Caught off guard, Liam was sent stumbling back by the punch, his tall frame hitting the restaurant's doorframe before sliding to the ground.
