Chapter 27
The moment “The Dawn is Coming” was released, it became a box office legend.
Flawless acting, well–developed characters, a perfect script, and impeccable cinematography.
When people online learned that Eleanor was the cinematographer, some started to dissect her work.
And all they could do was worship it!
The cinematographic style perfectly matched the theme: extravagant yet decadent, with a faint air of death amidst the splendor.
It elevated a simple love story to the grand scale of a dynastic change in a post–apocalyptic world.
Then someone dug up that the famous Olivia in the States was actually Eleanor, who had shot countless jaw–dropping movie scenes.
Her unique shooting style and flashy yet smooth camera transitions started a new trend in cinematography.
Experts also claimed that the entire crew of “The Dawn is Coming” would go down in film history as legendary.
What followed were rumors about the famous cinematographer Eleanor and the genius director Julian.
But the next day, the trending topics list exploded again.
Eleanor announced her relationship with Jason and their upcoming engagement date.
Nosy people online immediately started digging into Jason’s background.
They weren’t prepared for what they found.
“He’s the heir to the Carter family fortune in the States? Holy shit, who even is this Eleanor? How does she get all the good men fighting over her?”
“I also found out that the Best Actor award winner Ian was blacklisted for ages back then just for a kissing scene with Eleanor, hahaha, so tragic!”
Eleanor watched Jason’s face darken as he scrolled through the Twitter comments on the sofa, and she amusingly took his phone away. “Still looking even though you’re angry?”
“You even kissed Ian?”
Remembering the old incident, Eleanor looked helpless. “That was for work… Mmph! Jason! Put me down!”
Before Eleanor could finish, the man swept her into his arms, kissing her passionately as he walked toward the bed.
Moving her numb body, Eleanor got up to go upstairs. Since she had decided to leave, it was time to pack.
