Chapter 87: “I have a thing for him”

Chapter Eighty-Six

"Don’t push me." He told her.

She let out a slow breath, but he could feel the way her heartbeat quickened. She wasn’t unaffected. No matter how much she tried to pretend otherwise, he knew her body too well now. After all, if Demir hadn’t touched her, he was the only one who had.

Still, her voice was steady when she said, "You don’t scare me."

He smirked against her skin, his hand sliding down her hip, gripping tight. "Then I’m not trying hard enough."

She turned her head slightly, her lips just a breath away from his. "You can try all you want, but you won’t get anything out of me."

His patience was worn thin, but he forced himself to let go, to pull back just enough to keep himself from saying something he couldn’t take back.

He knew one thing for sure, whatever was between her and Demir, it was burning him up inside.

And it was only going to get worse if she did not tell him what exactly was going on. He knew how to get it out of her. He knew how to let her tell him.

Ahmet wasn’t the kind of man to beg for answers. He wasn’t the kind of man to ask twice. He knew how to get the truth out of people. And her? He knew her body too well now. He knew exactly how to make her talk.

His hand skimmed down her side, slow, deliberate, tracing the curve of her hip. She tensed but didn’t move away. He smirked against her skin. By no, she should know what he meant when he said he was going to get the truth out of her.

"You’ll tell me," he murmured, his lips trailing down her shoulder. "One way or another."

She sucked in a sharp breath as his fingers found the sensitive spot on her thigh, his touch slow, teasing. "This is your plan?" she scoffed, but her voice was not as steady as she wanted it to be.

He chuckled darkly. "You know it will work." He was daring her.

He slid his hand between her thighs, fingertips barely brushing her, just enough to make her shudder. He felt her exhale against him, her body betraying her resolve.

He pressed a kiss behind her ear before whispering, "Tell me what is going on between you and Demir."

She inhaled sharply but stayed silent. She was feeling something but it wasn’t enough to break her.

A smirk curled at the corner of his lips. Of course, she was not going to break that easily. She was a Mafia boss, trained in endurance, skilled in torture— just like he was. She knew how to make people beg, just like he did.

But she was underestimating him if she thought he’d give up. And this, this torture was something she hadn’t experienced before and he was sure it would ’break’ her.

"You really think you can hold out against me?" he murmured, dragging his lips down her neck, his fingers working her slowly, keeping her on the edge but never letting her enjoy the pleasure he was giving her.

He dragged his mouth lower, down her throat, to the sensitive spot just above her collarbone. His teeth scraped, and she shivered but still held strong.

Ahmet smirked. "Stubborn," he murmured, his grip tightening. "I like it." His thumb brushed across her skin. Though it was what he hoped for, if she broke too easily, he would be disappointed.

What was the satisfaction of getting something that did not even fight back? But he couldn’t deny the small part of him that secretly wished she’d just give him the answer already.

He moved his fingers faster, pressing, teasing, and keeping her right on the edge. Her back arched, a breathy sound slipping from her lips before she caught herself. He was satisfied. But not fully yet until he got his answer.

He growled, "Talk," and ordered.

She gasped, her fingers curling into fists on his lap, but she still refused to speak.

Damn it.

His patience was razor-thin. He knew she wanted to fight him, to win, but she had to know— he never lost, especially not when his sanity was on the line.

He dipped lower, his other hand brushing against her swollen breasts. "Last chance," he warned. "Tell me."

Her breaths were ragged, her body strung so tightly he knew she was seconds away from giving him what he wanted.

Asli swallowed hard, her fingers gripping the sheets. Her head fell back against his chest, her body tensing— and then, finally, with a whisper. "I have a thing for him," she muttered.

He froze.

For a second, he didn’t move, didn’t breathe. Then, with a dark chuckle, he bit down on her shoulder— hard enough to make her gasp. "You’re really testing me this morning," he growled.

But it hurt. More than he expected. How was he someone she hated and Demir someone she had a thing for? She still had a thing for? After so many years?

His jaw clenched, his grip tightening on her hip. "A thing?" he repeated, voice cold now.

She didn’t answer, just pressed her lips together as if she regretted saying it.
