My breathing became difficult.
Thinking that last night, Ferris might have also kissed Ashley nausea surged from my chest straight up.
I pressed my back against the cold wall, pushing him away forcefully.
Ferris seemed possessed, staring at me with dark eyes, suddenly taking off his coat.
“No…” I knew what he wanted to do and quickly refused.
But he seemed to misunderstand, thinking I was playing hard to get. His hands didn’t stop, starting to remove my
clothes.
I panicked, my eyes red with urgency.
Without thinking, I bit down hard on his shoulder.
He groaned, seeming startled, stopped his movements, and looked at me in disbelief: “What are you doing?”
“Put me down!” I gritted my teeth, my eyes moist and red.
He looked down at me, his hand falling on my face: “No.”
My heart tightened, understanding he wasn’t taking my resistance seriously, and he continued to lean down to kiss
But images of him and Ashley being intimate like this last night flashed through my mind.
I dug my fingernails into his shoulders, my fingertips almost piercing his skin.
But he seemed to feel no pain.
“Ferris! Put me down!!” My voice carried a sob.
But he still refused.
I didn’t understand why during this period, the more he felt my coldness, the more he wanted to tie me firmly to his side, as if he wanted to crush me into his bones and blood, completely devour me.
The temperature in the room seemed to rise straight up. I had no power to resist, only able to passively endure.
Just then, there was suddenly a knock at the door.

Chapter 163
Ferris’s movements stopped, displeasure between his brows: “Who is it?”
Linda’s careful voice came from outside the door. She had obviously heard the commotion inside, her face red as a ripe apple, yet unable to hide her envy and jealousy.
“Alpha Ferris, the old Alpha wants you to go see him.”
Her tone was soft and sweet, and she rubbed her burning face.
“I know.”
Ferris looked down at me, now limp and powerless in his arms, wrapped me in clothes, and carried me to the large bed nearby.
“Rest well.”
He said while frowning, as if feeling sorry for me.
I pulled the blanket to cover myself, my face somewhat pale: “Mm.”
Ferris went to change clothes.
After changing, he didn’t leave immediately, but walked to me.
I looked up and clearly saw the bite marks I had left on his shoulder, and the bloody scratches on his back.
He seemed to feel no pain at all. Instead, he reached out to touch my face, his tone mild: “I’m leaving now. Shouldn’t
you show some gesture?”
I frowned at him, not understanding if this man hadn’t been bitten enough.
But meeting my watery eyes, his Adam’s apple bobbed, and he leaned down to kiss me again.
Before I could react, I bit him hard again.
Ferris seemed to have learned, biting back, though not as hard as I had. His bite carried a warning, yet was also
careful.
I quickly dodged away.
He reached up to touch my lips, saying flatly: “It hurts, doesn’t it? Actually, I hurt too.”
