If not for Allen being present, Ferris could probably have said even harsher, more direct things.
When the Ford couple emerged from the old man’s room, both their faces were flushed red.
Ford walked while muttering angrily: “What does Ferris think he is? How dare he lecture me in front of grandfather? I’m his older cousin!”
Camilla held Allen’s hand, also extremely displeased: “Your cousin doesn’t give you any face, humiliating us in front of so many people with Allen watching.”
She glanced at Ferris’s residence not far away, suddenly smiling coldly: “He probably doesn’t know yet who the real joke is.”
Ford was stunned: “What do you mean?”
Camilla snorted coldly, her tone full of disdain: “Haven’t you heard? He brought that woman back.”
“So what?” Ford frowned, seeming somewhat regretful: “That woman is quite beautiful, just a pity she doesn’t match our family.”
Camilla’s lips curved in a cold smile: “Don’t worry, I’ll definitely make him pay back today’s debt.”
She bit her lip, her tone somewhat gritted: “You don’t know the person his Luna really likes isn’t him at all!”
Only Camilla knew this. She had discovered it by accident.
She hadn’t mentioned it before because she wanted to keep it to watch Aurora make a fool of herself.
But now, she decided to let Ferris also taste being played and humiliated.
When Ferris returned to the room, I was already leaning against the bed reading.
Soft light fell on me. He stood at the doorway watching for a few seconds without speaking.
He casually threw his coat aside while pulling off his tie and slowly unbuttoning his shirt: “What did my mother want with you?”
When I looked up at him, he was already down to just pants.
I instinctively looked away: “She wants me to give you a child, and said… she’d give me 200 million for one child.”
“Did you agree?” He suddenly approached, leaning down to ask near my ear.

Chapter 173
I shook my head: “No. I don’t want to sell my own child.”
As I turned my head, my lips accidentally brushed his cheek
His body stiffened as if touched by something, his eyes becoming complex. The next second, he reached out and lifted me up.
I quickly pushed against him, stopping his movement.
“Can you promise me something first?”
He took a deep breath, his Adam’s apple bobbing: “Talk later”
“No, I need to say it now.” I looked at him seriously.
He was obviously frustrated at being interrupted, his tone showing restraint: “Speak.”
“Tomorrow is Linus’s birthday. I want to see him.”
He hesitated: “In a few days.”
The sanatorium was at Silver Moon pack’s border. Though security was tight, he still worried I might take the chance to run away.
“But tomorrow is his birthday.” I said softly. “I really miss him. If not tomorrow, at least tell me when, so I can prepare. I want to spend good time with him.”
While speaking, I deliberately moved back to avoid his touch, clearly showing my attitude – if you don’t agree, nothing happens tonight.
