How else would he know where she was?
Dorian didn’t answer directly. “Be downstairs in five minutes, or I’m coming up to get you myself.”
The blatant threat sent Elysia into a rage. “You come up here, and I swear you’ll regret it!”
“Heh. I’d like to see you try.”
“…”
Dorian’s attitude was insufferable. Muttering “You bastard,” Elysia hung up the phone.
Amara had heard the entire argument. “Is Dorian downstairs? Do you want me to go tell him to leave?”
“Yeah, go ahead. Get rid of him for me.” Elysia had no desire to see Dorian right now. Amara could handle him. Given Finnian’s feelings for Amara, Dorian wouldn't dare cause a scene with her.
Amara went downstairs and saw a black luxury car parked by the curb. Dorian was leaning against the driver’s side door, his expression coolly unhappy. She walked straight up to him. “Elysia doesn’t want to see you, and she isn’t coming home tonight. You should go.”
Dorian acted as if he hadn’t heard her. “Tell her to come down and see me,” he said, his fists clenching and his face contorting slightly. “She is my wife.”
