Chapter 16
“Oh my god.” I spoke breathlessly, his eyes burning into mine.
“My wolf keeps yelling at me, yelling at me for not figuring it out that much sooner. I always felt protective of you, but I just thought it was because you were our Luna-” His eyes widened when he
realized what he said.
“Fuck, I didn’t mean to tell you his way.”
“Andrew, you honestly thought I didn’t know?” He tried giving me a sheepish grin before something dawned on him again.
“We can tell my father, our father, and get you out! I know I told you before but I’m serious this time, she won’t be able to get through the pack.” I shook my head, the music below us booming as another fast paced song came through the air.
“She’s gotten through before, hell, even I have gotten through before! She’ll slaughter each and every one of

you, I can’t let her do that.” Tears fell down my cheeks as he pulled me into a embrace, giving me only comfort that I knew a brother could.
“Clean yourself up, put some leggings on under his shirt and lets go downstairs. Wesley is undoubtedly going crazy looking for you.” I nodded, going back into
his closet.
I tugged on a pair of leggings Andrew gave me, before making my way into the bathroom to look at myself. My face had no makeup covering my skin, although my eyes were dimmed red.
My hair was curled than usual from just being washed, my heart clenching as I lifted up my shirt to show my stomach. Bruises littered along my abdomen, my ribs undoubtedly either cracked or harshly bruised.
I sighed before walking out and meeting Andrew, giving him a forced smile as he led me out the door. We made our way down the stairs to a crowded house, drunk teenagers littering each open space. I wrinkled my nose at the stench of them all, my eyes
absentmindedly searching for him. His smell hit me, causing my eyes to narrow as I saw him laughing with

James and his other football teammates. His heart was
racing and his eyes were glossy, it was obvious they had been drinking the special alcohol made for wolves in order to get them drunk.
Andrew placed his hand on my shoulder, urging me forward. “The bond will pull and tug until you give in.”
I sighed as I took a step in the room, making my way to him with Andrew trailing behind me.
Wesleys eyes brightened when he saw me, the smell of bourbon on his breath attacking me from six feet away. He took a step closer to me, his eyes narrowing in Andrews hand still on my shoulder.
“Wesley,” I started, but Wesley took matters into his own hand and threw his hand off of me. He pushed him away from me, pulling me into his arms as he rested his head into the crook of my neck.
I looked over his shoulder to find James and Andrew taking the other members of his team away from us, Wesley nuzzling closer to me.
“Wesley, lets bring you to bed. I’ll clean everything up and get people to leave.”

He stood up to his full height, staring back down to me with his blue glassy eyes.
“Why don’t you like me? Don’t you feel these?” His fingers traced my cheek, sparks erupting under his touch.
I leaned in closer, my eyes shutting involuntarily.
“Yes,” I breathed out, opening my eyes to find him inching closer to me. I stepped out of his hold when a loud shatter erupted us, my eyes searching for the noise.
I walked out of the room, sensing him following closely behind. I walked into the kitchen, finding two wolves fighting.
I rolled my eyes, Wesley standing behind me with a
smile on his face.
