17 Chapter 17
‘Shouldn’t he be an Alpha and stop them?’
‘He’s too drunk to be an Alpha right now!’ I walked forward, allowing a bit of my authority to seep into my
words.
“Stop!” They stilled on the ground, looking back up to
“Leave, stop fighting, or you will be cleaning your mess up.” I just wanted them gone, to put Wesley to bed, and to use my magic to clean everything up.
With the way the party was going, it seemed no one wanted to leave for long. I turned to find Wesley grinning a sloppy drunk smile, his ocean eyes turning as dark as the night sky.
“Wesley,” I warned, but I simply got a gruff growl back.
“My name is Daniel, not Wesley.”
Great. His fucking wolf took charge.
“Why did you take over Wesleys body?” He sighed,

reaching out and taking my hand. He led me up the stairs, the house quieting down as I watched his eyes glaze over. I heard the front door open and close multiple times, I guess he made them leave.
He opened his bedroom door and sat on the edge of the bed, pulling me into his arms. I relaxed into it almost immediately, surprising even myself. I looked up to his dark eyes, feeling my heart beat fasten.
“Why do you lie to us about your wolf? She calls out to me, she wants me as I know you want my human.” I shut my eyes, leaning to rest my head on his chest.
“You will get hurt if we continue this, everything I have done has been to put your safety first; please remember that.” His fingers ran along my cheek, little sparks of electricity igniting.
“The only person that can ever hurt us, is you my dear.” I looked up, I wanted to kiss him so badly, but I want to kiss Wesley, a sober Wesley.
“I love you.” I said it so low, I could barely hear it with my own ears. His eyes softened and a huge smile came to his face, his lips pressing themselves to my temple.

“I love you as well, almost as much as this human I am in.” I grinned, pulling his arms off of me.
“I’m going down to clean, let Wesley come back and go to bed. I’ll come back, I promise.” I stood by the door, watching as his eyes shifted and Wesley came
back.
He looked a lot more sober, his eyes not as red as
before.
“Emilia?” I smiled, walking forward to him. I heard his heartbeat raise as my hands skimmed the hem of his shirt, tugging it over his head. His eyes began darkening when I pulled he comforter back and pushed him in it, but they returned almost as fast when I pulled it back over him.
“I’m going to clean downstairs, I’ll be back.” I shut the door behind me as I made my way down the steps, finding Andrew standing in the living room with a trash bag as he picked up red solo cups.
“Andrew.”
His eyes whirled to me, holding my gaze until I broke it. “Emilia, you okay?”

I shrugged, closing the distance between us and taking the trash bag from him. “Watch and learn little wolf boy.” He growled playfully as me, causing me to chuckle. I turned and faced the mess, whirling my index finger and speaking loud and clear.
“Clean.”
The trash in the room began spinning, whirling in a vortex until a bright light dissipated all of it. I turned to Andrews astonished face, another huge grin
crossing my own as I held up my finger.
“All in my index finger.” I left him and went back up the steps, opening the door to Wesley room to find him against the wall on one side of the bed, his arm open as if he expected me to crawl right in.
And I did.
I lay down softly, shutting my eyes as I snuggled in deeper. His scent completely enveloped me, sending my wolf and myself into a frenzy.
It seemed like hours before I was almost at that threshold of sleep, before Wesley began speaking.

17 Chapter 17
“The second reason I love you, my little Emilia, is because of how good of a Luna you will be. Today you broke up a fight I can barely remember, causing my wolf to come out because he loves you so much. He told me you loved me too, is that true? I really hope it is. Because I love you with every fiber of my being, and I don’t think I will ever stop.”
