Elinor realized that Kurosawa was same as Victor. Although they disliked others, they could also act politely.
Hypocrisy and strength were their symbols.
Rutledge guarded against Kurosawa. When hearing his words, he pulled Elinor aside. Kurosawa drawled, "Oh, Elinor, I'm not a bad guy."
She cast a look at Kurosawa. "You also contributed to Victor's plan, right? Drugging me and bringing me out."
Her frank attitude made him stunned, but at the sight of Rutledge's malicious and gloomy eyes, he suddenly laughed. "What did you say?"
Although he did appear at the gate of Rutledge's villa to attract their attention, he would not admit it. After all, he was Victor's friend.
Seeing their nervous tension, Rankin toned down the atmosphere. "It's rare for us to gather aboard together. Don't be so nervous. We're not enemy. No need to avenge on each other."
Avenge?
As if hearing a joke, Victor said, "I'm not the one starting."
Elinor grasped Rutledge's arm tightly and gave Rankin face. "Let's go in together. Who else will come today?"
Victor, Kurosawa, Rutledge, Rankin, Darleen and her, six persons.
When they were about to turn around, a voice came from outside.
"I thought you went out to live alone, but..."
Victor asked, "When did my workers bullied her?"
"Obviously, there are spare rooms there."
Rutledge looked back, his look cold. "But Darleen ordered your workers not to allocate a room to her, so she had to live with Shawn. It happened that you found it, and she was driven out, so she came to me. I'm curious about whether you cooperated with Shawn?"
Darleen's plan was exposed in front of them.
Elinor clenched her fingers and put on a smile. "It's okay. I'm tired of listening to these words. Victor said these previously, and now, Shawn becomes his successor. They only have these means. I can still endure these."
From beginning to end, only Rutledge stood up for her. Even if he had his own purposes, at least, he never harmed her.
