When Her Death Couldn't Break Him (Cecilia and Nathaniel) novel Chapter 2112

Cecilia had the bodyguard send her the motel's address and immediately contacted Magnus.

By then, it was already past midnight, but Magnus and Denise were still outside.

When Magnus received the good news over the phone, his eyes lit up with joy. "Thank you so much, Cecilia! You've helped me big time."

Cecilia didn't say much in response to his thanks. "Hurry up and bring them back. Also, be good to your friend."

"Okay, okay," Magnus agreed repeatedly. Because of the cold weather, his voice was even trembling slightly as he spoke.

The moment the call ended, Magnus shared the news with Denise. "Let's go. I know where Mr. and Mrs. Laney are."

Denise's face and cheeks were pale and stiff from the cold. She wanted to thank him, but it was so cold that she couldn't speak.

Magnus immediately hailed a taxi.

As they sat in the car, the heater inside slowly warmed Denise's body, allowing her to ask, "Where are my parents now? Are they all right?"

"They're staying in a motel now. Don't worry; they're fine," Magnus replied.

Denise finally breathed a sigh of relief. Then, remembering something, she said, "Please thank your sister for me..."

There, she paused and quickly added, "No, I'll thank her in person later."

Denise felt that a verbal expression of gratitude wasn't nearly enough for Cecilia, who had helped find her parents.

"Okay, okay. After we find Mr. and Mrs. Laney and send them to the hospital, I'll give you my sister's address so you can go thank her." Magnus also smiled.

They both felt much more relaxed now that they had found Brycen and Calliope.

By the time they reached the place where Brycen and Calliope were staying, the sun had already risen.

Denise knocked on the door, which was soon opened from inside.
