Chapter 202 Chaos And Consequences
SILAS
“What the fuck…” I hissed, my jaw tightening as my bird’s crimson eyes fixed on her within the walls of Lupine Academy.
Reclined in my velvet chair, a goblet of dark wine balanced in my hand, I barely spared a glance at the two Alpha beasts tearing each other apart on the balcony. My attention was solely focused on her. Always her.
“Tell me, Theo,” I murmured, my voice low and sharp, “Did Alpha Darious not see the bouquet, or did he somehow fail to hear that ‘Seth Darven‘ is in Lupine Academy?”
Theo stiffened beside my chair, his shoulders taut. “He saw and heard both, but…”
“But?” I slowly tilted my head toward him, the weight of my stare heavy.
His eyes dropped. “Her aunt, Luna Marrisa, seems to have been involved in her escape and intrusion. Since she is the twin sister of Seraphina Nightbane’s mother, their bond is more like mother and daughter. The Luna outright lied to her mate and Alpha Darious Nightbane, claimed her son went to Lupine Academy and wanted it kept secret as a surprise. That when he returned with the Supreme Alpha throne, it would be a gift of pride. She twisted her words so flawlessly Alpha Darious suspected nothing.”
A dark chuckle slipped from me, smooth as venom. “Fucking adorable. No wonder that Luna is her blood.”
My amusement faded as my gaze fixed back on the portal, my smile vanishing into cold steel. “Time’s running out. I don’t have the luxury to play games anymore.”
Red clouded my vision as her face burned in my sight. “She must be out of Lupine Academy before her twenty–first birthday…”
SERAPHINA
The Alpha King’s Council had come. And they had arrived at the worst possible moment.
The tall, handsome man at their head, no more than his early thirties, his aura sharp as a blade, watched the chaos with unreadable eyes. Three council members stood behind him, their faces carved in stone.
“Now this is quite the welcome, Alpha Gideon,” he murmured, his voice calm, detached, as though the carnage unfolding was nothing but a passing amusement.
Alpha Gideon’s expression twisted with fury, veins straining at his temple. His roar cracked through the bloody balcony like thunder. “Why the fuck are all of you doing standing there? SEPARATE THEM!”
At once, the academy wolves surged forward, throwing themselves into the maelstrom of

snapping jaws and slashing claws. While Alpha Hugo hurriedly started mind–linking
someone.
The air split with snarls. Ronan’s massive wolf form had Ryker’s locked throat in his jaws, his teeth sunk deep, crimson spilling like fire across the shattered tiles. Ryker’s claws raked down Ronan’s ribs, leaving bloody trenches. Neither yielded. Neither even flinched.
“Pull them apart!” An academy wolf yelled, straining as he barely wrapped his arms around Ryker’s heaving neck. Another grabbed Ronan’s flank, only to be thrown back with a violent jerk of the wolf’s body, his chest slamming into the broken railing.
The balcony shuddered. Splinters and iron shrieked as the railings gave way under the sheer force of their struggle. For a heartbeat, it seemed both wolves would tumble into the abyss below.
“Hold them! Don’t let go!” Gideon’s command split the chaos.
Six wolves in total swarmed the beasts, each man pouring his full strength, their wolves half–surfacing under their skin to bolster their grip. Still, it was like trying to restrain two storms made of flesh and fury. Ronan twisted, jaws dripping blood, and three Alphas lost their hold, staggering back. Ryker bucked violently, flinging another into the cracked wall with bone–crushing force.
“They’ll tear each other apart!” someone barked, sweat and blood mingling as they threw themselves back into the fray.
Finally–finally through sheer brute force, they wrestled the two apart, muscles straining, faces pale, their uniforms shredded. It took four academy wolves to pin Ronan against the stone wall, his fangs still snapping in the air, eyes blazing red. Three others forced Ryker to the floor, their arms locked around his neck and legs as his claws dug trenches into the marble tiles.
“Fuck!!! We can’t hold them!!” one of the men holding Ronan shouted at the top of his lungs. Following the men holding Ryker.
In the next second Ronan and Ryker both really broke out of their grasp again. The academy wolves could not even pin them down for five seconds. When suddenly an invisible barrier fell between two of them separating them from attacking each other.
The handsome man from the Council glanced at Healer Aran as he stepped into the scene finally stopping the two beasts with his powers. Aran exchanged a silent glance from him before saying to Alpha Hugo. “I did not get to finish my chicken wrap, thanks to you,”
“Thanks for coming. I will get you ten of them. You had to be here for this,” Alpha Hugo grumbled.
Aran took a deep breath and looked ahead.
Chapter 202 Chaos And Consequences
The balcony was unrecognizable, railings destroyed, stone cracked, the floor slick with blood. The two Alphas still roared for each other, every vein in their bodies screaming to finish what had been started.
The gathered crowd of the Alphas and Alphas instructors fell into a horrified silence.
And the Council…watched. Blank–eyed. Unmoved.
But me? I was frozen in place, my eyes fixed on the parking lot where Alpha Jude hugged Grace laying in the pool of her own blood. Alpha Jude was yelling her name, trying to wake her up and she…she was…
Alpha Gideon’s ears caught Alpha Jude yellinging Grace’s name and he finally noticed them in the parking lot.
His face twisted with fury immediately changed when he saw his daughter in that state.
“GRACE!!” he roared and in a blink jumped off of the balcony and ran over there like he was possessed. Everyone’s eyes followed him to the parking lot, the Alphas knowing Grace horrified to see her in blood and Alpha Jude in tears.
While I just could stand there.
My heart bled and I felt like dying right there and then.
Again…I could not stop anything.
