Chapter 205 Null Ang Vold
SERAPHINA
On the massive screen, grainy black–and–white from a hidden angle: the night Ronan killed Cassius.
But not all of it. Only fragments. Only enough to damn. My side profile was blurry but visible, a small figure, unmistakably me, standing with him. Only his face was covered in black cloth. The instant he stood before me, hand brushing my cheek. Then he was out of the footage when had taken the step back. Due to the camera’s angle and the hall Ronan’s killing Cassius was not recorded but what was recorded brought a sword in my throat.
Even Alpha Hugo’s sharp eyes came at me like a knife. Then to Finn who’d testified that he had arrived at the scene first, not me. He figured out Finn lied.
Whispers erupted like fire through dry leaves. The Council members leaned forward. The Alphas stiffened, their eyes darting between me, and the screen.
Ronan’s aura exploded like ice cracking across the hall, violent and cold enough to choke the air. His violet eyes glared at the screen. That footage, his man had hacked into and deleted it. No one should have it. Yet there seemed to be a hidden old camera.
My heart pounded, the edges of my vision sharp with panic. How did the Council get that footage? Something seemed off. It did not seem coincidental.
Austin reclined slightly, eyes gleaming with serpent’s satisfaction.
“Now,” he purred, “Shall we speak again of law?”
I locked eyes with him, Phina sensing the danger especially due to Ronan’s changing aura. It was that same scary one that I felt when he killed Cassius. The most dangerous aura that I ever sensed in my life.
Austin’s voice cracked through the hall like a whip. “Alpha Seth Darven, you know who the intruder is, don’t you?”
The growl in his tone coiled around me like chains. My fists clenched at my sides, hidden from sight.
“The figure of the intruder is blurred, yes, but it is clear he spoke to you. You knew the whole time who he was. Don’t you dare lie to the Council.”
All eyes turned on me. Ronan’s fury burned through the bond, coiling hotter with each passing second. He was about to snap, over me. The problem was if he did, they would find out that Ronan killed Casius. Then that would reveal that I had been chasing after Cassius and when that happened they would discover the link to my secret. No, I could not let that happen.
Of course, if I stayed silent, if I didn’t give them a name, they’d expel me on the spot.

My gaze flicked toward Ronan just as he shifted forward, ready to act, only to notice Finn moving too, stepping out from the line of Alphas. My pulse stuttered. What the hell was he doing?
Austin’s growl deepened, booming across the Grand Hall. “Enough games! Tell us who the intruder was, Alpha Seth, before you are expelled for concealment. There were only two missing that night, Alpha Ryker and Alpha Ronan. It has to be one of them. Give us the name!”
The walls seemed to close in, my veins spiking with the certainty that the world was about to end. I took a step forward, words ready to burn my throat, just as Ronan moved too.
He–he was about to…
Until-
A voice broke the air, lazy but razor–edged. “Well, Alpha Asher was also missing from the corridor that night when it all happened.”
Every head snapped toward the entrance.
Healer Aran strolled in with infuriating calm, hands shoved into his pockets, his eyes glinting with quiet amusement. He glanced once across the gathered Alphas before letting his gaze land like a dagger.
“Am I right, Alpha Asher?”
My breath caught. Asher?
When had he come in? Why was Aran throwing his name into this? And, why wasn’t Asher denying it?
Finn froze mid–step when Asher was thrown into the matter. Ronan’s eyes locked on mine, violent conflict swirling in their depths. Austin’s sharp gaze whipped toward Asher, seizing on the new prey like a viper scenting blood.
Asher remained silent, his face unreadable, as the Council members shifted uneasily. The tension cracked like a fault line, the revelation of another powerful Alpha tangled in this
mess.
Finn and my eyes locked for a brief second. I had to do something. The matter had gone this far. If it accelerated any further then all us would be dragged under then everything would be ruined.
So I stated, “The intruder had covered his face, and I was horrified to see it was Cassius. He threatened to rip my face off if I told anyone his name. After he killed so many academy wolves, I was nothing to him. But then he died, struck down by the divine powers of the Goddess.” I recited everything matching Finn’s testimony. Again there was no proof so the

Council could do nothing.
The room collapsed into stunned silence. Not a breath stirred.
Austin’s expression stayed unreadable, a mask carved from ice.
“Divine powers of the Goddess? I read that nonsense in the record,” his lips curled into a smile that chilled the marrow of everyone’s bones. Slowly, deliberately, he turned his gaze on Finn, his eyes narrowing cold as steel. “So this is the game you all are playing, hmm?” His gaze swept across Ronan, Ryker, and finally landed on me with piercing weight.
The hall was suffocated in pin–drop silence. Then Austin’s voice, sharp as a blade, cut through it.
“Since no one will confess, and no true guilty party can be proven….” he paused dramatically.
My heartbeat thudded painfully in my chest. He couldn’t do anything. Not without proof. He couldn’t.
That was the moment his voice struck like a blade. “Both Alpha Ryker and Alpha Ronan will be expelled from the Academy.”
My heart dropped in my stomach. What did he just say? Expelled? Ronan?
Ronan froze as well while the whole room fell into a dead silence.
Alpha Hugo’s voice broke through, sharp and thunderous. “That is against the rules and the law!”
Austin’s lip curled back, his voice a guttural snarl, “Fuck the law.”
Gasps rang out like shattering glass. The Alphas stiffened, stunned at the sudden shift, the man who moments ago draped himself in nobility now baring the beast beneath, arrogant. and unhinged.
“This Academy,” Austin continued, voice rising with unrestrained venom, “is no longer what it used to be. And I, second in command of the Council, stand here to deliver my lord, the Head of the Council’s command.”
He straightened his back, his shadow stretching across the room like a sentence being carved into stone. His black eyes gleamed, merciless.
“From this moment, every rule, every clause, every law that would prevent expulsion of offenders is null and void. By the order of the Council Head himself, I hereby declare: Alpha Ryker and Alpha Ronan are expelled from Lupine Academy!”
The words crashed into the hall like thunder.
