Chapter 210 Redemption to His Arms
SERAPHINA
Confusion, fear and anger twisted inside me like barbed wire after my encounter with Austin. That was when Phina stirred again my wolf catching a familiar scent in the air. Slowly, I turned.
Ronan stood there.
“Seraphina he called softly. So soft that only I could catch it.
My heart lurched, but my face hardened. I frowned and stepped past him without a word.
“Seraphina, wait.” His hand brushed mine.
I jerked it away as if burned. “Don’t touch me,” I growled, glaring at him before striding off.
He growled low in his throat, but I didn’t care. I reached my room, opened the door, and stepped inside, only for Ronan’s boot to wedge in the frame. With a shove, he forced the door open and entered.
I took a step back. “Get out!” I snapped.
Only instead of leaving, he shut the door behind him with a soft click and advanced toward me like a predator closing in on its prey.
“Why are you avoiding me?” His voice was low but intense.
“I don’t want to talk to you. Get out.” I turned sharply, but before I could reach the wardrobe his arm snaked around my waist. He yanked me back against his chest.
“Seraphina.”
“Let me go!” I struggled, my voice rising. “Let me fucking go, Ronan!”
He only tightened his grip, his breath warm against my ear. “Why are you angry with me?”
I froze in his arms, disbelief spilling from my lips. “Why am I angry? You really don’t know?” My voice cracked, a tremor of fury running through it. “You fought with Ryker knowing you were breaking the academy rules! No matter how much I yelled for you to stop, you ignored me. And now you’re going to be expelled!” I yelled, my face hot all the emotions I’d bottled up came pouring out.
He stared at me in silence, eyes searching mine, feeling the fear beneath my anger.
“Did you even think about what I’d do if you got expelled…” My voice broke at the end. I looked away quickly, blinking back the wetness in my eyes.
He reached up and cupped my cheek, forcing me to meet his eyes. “I’m sorry,” he whispered.
“No, you’re not!” I snapped, jerking his hand away. “You have no idea how I’m feeling right now. I couldn’t save Grace’s baby. I couldn’t change anything. I nearly lost you, and I-”
Before I could finish, his mouth crashed onto mine.
I gasped in shock, my breath caught as his lips crashed onto mine. He actually silenced me, not with words, but with a kiss. I tried to pull away, turn my face aside, but his hands rose to cradle my cheeks and he deepened the kiss instead.
Through the electric press of his mouth, his wolf brushed against Phina, linking with her, a pulse of power rippling through me. Before I could wriggle free, his voice spilled between the kisses, soft but commanding.
“Calm down,” he whispered.

My palms pressed against his chest, fingers curling into his shirt as if on instinct. My eyes fluttered closed. His lips moved over mine worshipping, consuming, pulling every breath, every tremor of fear, right out of me. His presence, his wolf, everything about him began to settle the storm inside me, easing my panic until I realized he hadn’t kissed me just to silence me–he’d kissed me to calm me. To steal my fear away.
He caught my lower lip gently between his teeth, sucking softly before parting from me at last, his forehead resting against mine.
“I’m sorry for scaring you,” he murmured, his breath warm against my skin.
I lifted my trembling gaze, finding his deep violet eyes locked on mine, eyes full of a startling, quiet love.
“I’m sorry I wasn’t there when you were worried about Grace,” he continued voice low, “I’m sorry for not listening to you. I’m sorry for everything.”
He drew me into his arms, first gently, then with a firmer hold, as if anchoring me in place. His lips brushed my ear. “I’ll redeem myself–whatever it takes to earn your forgiveness.”
My heart pounded so hard it felt like it might burst. He was afraid. Even a man like him–fierce, unyielding- could still be afraid. And that fear was of losing me.
A small smile tugged at my lips. “And how,” I asked softly, “Do you plan to redeem yourself?”
He thought for a longer moment before replying, his voice low, “I would kneel down.”
I almost laughed. An Alpha like him kneeling down for my forgiveness? The image of him with pitiful eyes was so unexpectedly cute it nearly broke my composure. I swallowed the laughter and raised a brow instead.
“You think you’ll earn my forgiveness just by doing that?” I said, my tone turning stern. Pulling away, I added with a frown, “I’ll sleep in my own bed tonight.”
With that, I turned toward my bed, a mischievous grin tugging at my lips.
I bet his face was priceless after what I’d said. The other night he’d been completely triggered when I’d dared to sleep in my own bed; he’d dragged me to his in my half–sleep. But tonight, I wanted to tease him a little more, to see how far he’d go.
Before I could take another step, I felt his presence, hot and solid, right behind me.
Surprised, I tried to turn around, but his hands were faster. In one swift motion, he tore open my shirt, leaving me in nothing but the binding around my chest. I gasped, but he didn’t give me the chance to move.
The next moment, he pressed me against the wall, my breasts pressing to the cool surface first, his hardness pressing firmly against my ass. The posture alone was so erotic my pulse quickened.
I glanced over my shoulder when I felt his hand roam across my hips and over my ass. “What are you doing?” I breathed, my voice unsteady.
He slid my pants down slowly, fingers grazing my skin, then ground his bulge against my pussy.
“Planning to redeem myself the entire night, Seraphina,” he whispered into my ear, his voice a dark promise.
