Orion was so focused on catching up to the person ahead that he didn't notice the ground beneath his feet.

He took a tumble, landing with a thud and a grunt.

Lemira heard the noise and turned back to see Orion sprawled on the ground. She rushed over to help him up. "Are you alright?"

She noticed blood on his hand.

"I'll get a first aid kit," she offered.

But Orion grabbed her hand, his lips pressed into a thin line. "Don't go."

Lemira lowered her gaze. "Let's stop the bleeding first."

"I'll go with you."

Orion got to his feet and walked with Lemira.

The gym owner, who had been watching from a distance, quickly approached when he noticed Orion was hurt. "There's a first aid kit in my office."

The two of them headed to the office.

The gym owner handed the kit to Lemira. "I've got some things to handle. Can you help out?"

Before Lemira could respond, he was gone.

She opened the first aid kit and started cleaning Orion's wound.

"You might need stitches for this," she said after inspecting the cut.

Orion remained silent, simply watching Lemira, unsure of what to say.

Lemira applied a band-aid with care, aware of his gaze on her the whole time.

After putting the first aid kit away, she turned to leave.

A warm hand caught her wrist.

Without turning around, Lemira said, "I need to get back to school."

Orion looked at her delicate wrist and asked softly, "Can we just take a few days to cool off and then talk?"

Lemira glanced at his injured arm, her resolve wavering. Finally, she gave a quiet nod.

Her expression was a bit awkward. "I'm fine."

Stella glanced towards the gate, her face thoughtful. The man standing there was the Everhart heir.

Stella never imagined Lemira's boyfriend would be that Everhart.

Stella seemed to weigh her words. "Your boyfriend is quite the looker."

When Lemira heard that, she realized Stella must have seen Orion. She gave a wry smile. "I guess you know who he is now. I only recently found out myself."
