When Two Winters Met (Henrietta and Yosef) novel Chapter 53

Artina’s words caused the faces of the other actors to darken. They were already unhappy, and now they were furious.

Henrietta scanned the room and coolly tossed her pen onto the conference table. “Did Ms. Harmon not know that I also graduated from a prestigious acting school, and that I was a classmate of the award-winning Mr. Coleman?”

Artina actually didn't know that. Before Henrietta’s identity was revealed, she had assumed Henrietta was just a CEO’s assistant who got the job through her connection to Matteo.

Not just Artina, no one in the room knew. They were all stunned by Henrietta’s announcement. Henrietta had studied acting? She was stunningly beautiful and incredibly wealthy. If she made her debut, she would be an instant sensation! And yet, she had been working as a mere assistant…

The heiress to the Sargent family, a professionally trained actress, had spent billions to promote her ex-boyfriend while remaining a complete unknown herself.

Everyone instinctively looked at Matteo, and the pieces clicked into place. They understood who Henrietta had made such a sacrifice for.

Matteo’s face burned with embarrassment. Thankfully, no one said a word.

Henrietta looked at him and spoke again. “And my final grades were the highest in our class. Mr. Coleman was second.”

At this, Matteo’s face turned an even deeper shade of red.

“Isn’t that right, Mr. Coleman?” Henrietta asked, her voice cool and crisp.

Blushing, Matteo could only nod in admission. “Yes.”

No one knew what to say. Henrietta had not only given Matteo her money, but had also willingly hidden herself away for his sake. Before today, the entire company had believed that Henrietta was the one leaning on Matteo. Now they knew it was the complete opposite.

Henrietta turned her gaze. “Ms. Harmon, any further objections?”

For some reason, Artina felt an uncontrollable heat rising in her own cheeks. Matteo had graduated from the top film academy in the country, with the highest admission standards. And Henrietta had graduated first in their class.

“No,” Artina shook her head, trying to suppress her blush.

Henrietta looked at the others. “Meeting adjourned.”
