DIANE SEBASTIAN
I took in a deep breath, thinking my actions over. A part of me was telling me to just let it go. To let things be this way and let Lisa be with Lucius while I maintained a bit of distance from them.
But the bigger part of me could not allow that happen. I could not let Lisa continue to be with Lucius and I could not forgive Lucius too. The more I thought of it, the angrier I became. The more I recalled my moments with Seb, the more my rage grew. The more I looked at the bracelet that Lucius had kept hidden from me for years, the more pissed off I was.
I could not let Lisa be with Lucius. Never. And so even if it could cost me my life, I was willing to go to Sandro and ask him to let go of Lisa. As long as he wasn’t after Lisa, I could get my daughter back and be assured of her safety still. I wouldn’t have to leave her with Lucius just to keep her safe.
“I have to do this. I didn’t come this far just to turn back and leave” I said to myself and taking in a deep breath, I let out the same and unlocked my car door.
I got out of the car and found my way to Sandro’s gate.
Two men were standing by the gate.
“What do you need?” One of them asked in a gruffy tone that made me want to give up on my mission and leave but I stayed
back.
“I need to talk to your boss, Sandro” I replied.
They both exchanged glances and then laughed for a brief moment.
“And you are?” One stopped laughing to ask.
“Tell him I am Lisa’s mother. Diane Sebastien.” I replied in a firm tone.
Maybe it was the firmness in my voice and my stance but they seemed to take me serious.
“Just a second” one of them said to me and walked away.
He made a call for a few seconds before walking back to us. He looked at the other man and nodded towards him.
“Follow me” the other man said and I followed him.
We were soon in the mansion, finding our way to the main building which stood tall and majestically.
“Filthy money” I muttered underneath my breath.
Just like Lucius money. This also was filthy. 2
The man led me into the main building and into the living room.
In the living room, a man was seated on one of the sofas.
I knew immediately that this was Sandro. The man who had ordered my husband’s death and the man who had kidnapped Lisa.
I hated him so much. So so much.
“This is surprising.” He laughed.
“Why are you here? Oh my manners, have your seat” he said and I sat down, not letting my brave font give way even for a second.
“I was very surprised when I heard you were here to see me. Why are you here? Why did you walk in here so willingly?” He asked.
“I need you to let my daughter be” I stated and he chuckled darkly.
“And why do you think I would do that?”
“Because this is not her fault. You are the mastermind behind Seb’s death. Isn’t that enough? You have taken him away, why do you want to take her away too?” I asked and he threw his head back, laughing loudly.
After his weird laughter, he looked back at me.
“This is no longer about Seb. This is now about Lucius. I want to get rid of him”
