MONALISA
I was seated on a couch in the living room, playing with my fingers and just doing nothing. I was dressed in just a shirt that belonged to Lucius and I could breathe in his scent.
His scent Lucius had cleaned my legs himself and put a band aid where I got bruised.
“Lisa” he called me by my name and I raised my head up to see him walking over to me with a maid following behind him.
“Like to have another glass of water? Or a cup of coffee or tea would do?” He asked, stopping in front of me.
“A cup of coffee, please” I replied him and he took it from the tray the maid was carrying.
“You may leave” he said to the maid and she left, leaving just the both of us in the living room.
He sat beside me and handed the cup of coffee over to me.
“Thank you sir” I mumbled in response and drank from the cup.
I took a few sips before lowering my hand with the cup.
“Thank you so much for tonight” I thanked him once more.
“Are you fine now?” His smooth voice questioned and I just nodded.
“Now, tell me what happened. Who hurt you?” He asked and I raised my head to look at his face.
Why was he this worried about me?
“It’s nothing I guess”
“I don’t want to have to find out what happened myself” he said in a tone that held no jokes.
I sighed heavily, recalling the sight I had seen earlier today and I felt my heart ache again.
“My best friend…” The words came out of my mouth not too smoothly.
“Francesca Williams” he called her name making my brows arch.
How did he know her full name?
“How do you…”
“What did that little bitch do to you?” He cut me off, his eyes gaining a type of fire I had no idea those beautiful eyes could
have.
“She… She slept with my…” I shut my eyes and let out a heavy breath, feeling my heart ache badly again.
“She slept with my boyfriend and she… She was fucking him right in front of them even when I caught them!” I broke back into tears and he immediately pulled me into his arms.
