It was one hella cold night and there was nothing I would love more than to be behind Lisa, warming both of us up on this cold night but here I was, walking into the midst of the men I had walked away from.

“Lucius Devine is here” Ronald smiled but his smile faded away as his eyes met with mine.

“Lucius” Lorden called with a grin that showed off his entire set of teeth.

The others in the room remained silent. They weren’t worthy of calling my name out. They were way too insignificant in this business to do so.

Keeping my gaze on Lorden, I sat on the sofa opposite him and my men stood behind me.

“Why are you here today, Lucius? I thought you left us all, never to come back again” Lorden chuckled.

“I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t have to be. I will be quick. I might not be active in the business anymore but the both of you should be very well aware about who I am. I don’t like my things being touched or tampered with and to keep my things untouched, you very well know that I will go any fucking length. Even if it means having several heads roll down at my feet” “I still do not understand what this is about” Ronald said.

“Ronald” I took my gaze to him.

“I know…”

“Is this about Seb’s family?” Lorden cut me off and I leaned back slightly, not saying a word.

“I didn’t do anything but I figured out it must have been because of Seb’s family. I don’t know what your issue with that family is.” Lorden shook his head and took a long drag from his pipe.

“To keep them alive, I made a promise to y’all and I fulfilled my promise. I have kept my end of the deal. If any of you breaks your end of the deal, I would be forced to do things that none of you would like”

“You don’t threaten our boss” One of Lorden’s men suddenly spoke up and my eyes widened a bit. In surprise, definitely.

“Kill him” my voice was deathly cool and there was a gunshot and then a thud.

Lorden’s grin was wiped off but he said nothing about it.

“You are gathering rude and disrespectful men, aren’t you? You have no money to hire real men?” I asked.

“Forget about that” Ronald broke the tenseness that had grown in the air.

I got up from my seat, looked at both men intensely.

“Stay away from them” I turned to leave but Lorden’s voice stopped me.

“I am not sure anyone will be staying away from them” He rose up to his feet and I turned to face him.

“I have nothing to do with Seb’s family but you should know that a lot of people are mad at you for suddenly pulling out of the business. You ruined business for quite a lot of people. Some are still suffering the loss” he took another long drag of his pipe.

“They will probably do anything to pull you back into the business. And who doesn’t know you take care of Seb’s family like its your own fucking family? They are going to use that family of course.”

“Right?” I moved three steps closer to him.

“Why don’t you tell them, then? That I am not getting back into the business and that I am going to fucking destroy anyone who messes with that family”

I turned and stormed away, my men following behind me. My head spinned with anger.

No one would harm my cupcake or her mother. I wouldn’t think twice before driving bullets into their heads myself. I wouldn’t think about the fucking consequences before smashing their head and throwing their decomposing bodies to the vultures to feed on.

In about an hour, I was back home but I still could not shake off my tenseness. I needed someone to relieve the stress in me and i only knew one person who would do that perfectly.

I grabbed my phone as I sat on the sofa in the living room. I decided to send her a message instead.

“Come to my home, cupcake” I sent the text without thinking twice and pulled my loosened tie off my neck. I reached for my button and began unbuttoning my shirt rather quickly.

I jerked it off me and threw my head back with a soft groan. Just thinking about what her hands and her mouth would do to me and what mime would do to her made my cock throb.

I glanced down at it and growled softly. About a minute passed before I heard her footsteps.
