MONALISA

I woke up with my dimmed and tired eyes slowly opening.

“Mhhm” I grumbled, my hand subconsciously reaching for the other side of the bed and feeling it. There was no one on the other side of the bed.

Where was Lucius? Did he have something to do again?

“Good morning, Cupcake” his voice filled the room and I felt my heart smile. Yes, my heart smiled.

Something about him still being around me made me feel sweet and tingly inside even though I was super tired right now.

“Good morning” I greeted back, turning to my side and taking my first look of him for the day.

He was dressed in an ice blue coloured shirt that matched with the color of his eyes. A few of his buttons were undone, revealing his hard and toned body. His dark hair was a bit messy and he looked hot, just like every other day.

“You flatter me with such intense stares” he chuckled and I quickly looked away.

“I can barely stop staring” I mumbled as he walked towards the bed.

“Why? Because you love my body or because you…” He sat on the edge of the bed.

“Because you love me?” He asked and I stiffened.

Loving him? I had never thought of that before.

His laughter filled my ears.

“You looked petrified. I was just joking” he said and took his hand to my hair, gently ruffling the already ruffled hair.

I chuckled softly.

“I know I look like a mess right now” I said.

“A beautiful mess? I agree” he replied and kissed me on the forehead.

“You are beautiful, Cupcake” he added and I felt my insides tingle.

Lucius could be so sweet.

“I made breakfast for you.”

“Made it personally?” I asked.

“Yes, to prove to you that billionaires cook quite well”

“Can’t wait to have a taste” I smiled.

“I will take you to the bath tub”

I didn’t protest as he picked me up from the bed and took me into the bathroom.

He dropped me into the bathtub that was already filled with soapy water and rose petals.

It felt good. Really good to have the warm, soapy water running down my body.

We had already taken a bath last night when we finished yesterday. More like daddy had bathed me. I couldn’t stand and I doubt that I could stand or walk today too.

“Can you bring me my phone, please?” I asked.

“Sure” he kissed me on my forehead and walked away, leaving me with those tingly sensations.

He returned a minute later with my phone and handed it to me.

“Thank you”

I unlocked my phone and found that mum had sent me a message with the address of her friend’s home where I had to get a document from the friend of hers.

“I need to get something for my mum. I would have to go out today”

“You are sure you will be able to go out today?” Lucius asked and I pressed my lips into a thin line.

“I think I can manage”

“Alright, Cupcake. I will be back to rinse you up after I pick out a dress for you.”
