Yes Daddy (by Red Inkling) novel Chapter 94

MONALISA

I pulled away from Lucius immediately, feeling my head get heavy and my body freeze instantly. My palms turned sweaty and my heart started pounding, almost painfully fast and hard.

What was I supposed to do in this situation? What was mum doing here? How could she have found out about this in this way?

I could see the disappointment in her eyes, the rage on her face.

Before I could call her to try to explain whatever or just to say something or anything, Devine had grabbed my hand and pulled me to his side, almost protectively.

“Let go of me!” I tried to wriggle my wrist out of his grip but he held onto me firmly.

“There’s no point hiding this anymore. We should have said it already anyways.”

“You don’t know what you are doing” I tried saying.

“Let go of my daughter. Now.” Mum spoke up, finally taking a step towards us.

“I know you have heard a lot and I know that right now, you want nothing more than to tear me into pieces and stab me a thousand times but I would love it if you give me a chance to talk to you” Lucius started.

“What do you have to say? Uhh?” Mum asked.

“What do you have to say?!! What do you want to talk about, you bastard?! You killed my husband and now… Now I meet you kissing my daughter?! What do you have to say?!” Mum screamed.

“Mum” I croaked out and feeling Lucius’ grip on me loosen, I slipped my hand out of his and hurried over to mum’s side.

I didn’t even know who I was supporting here. I didn’t want to hurt mum anymore than I had already did but I was drawn to stand by Lucius.

I wanted to be by his side so much that I hated it. Why couldn’t I hate him deeply enough?

“Mum” I grabbed her arm but she shook my hand off hers.

“How could you, Lisa?! How could you… No” mum shook her head.

“Tell me he forcefully kissed you! Tell me he is being more of the bastard that he already is! Tell me you are not involved with him in any way!” Mum yelled at me and I fell silent.

What could I say?

I felt like the worst daughter on earth for doing this to my mum.

“I am the one to blame for all of this” Lucius grabbed my hand and pulled me to himself
