"Mom and I both heard it," Xenia insisted. "She said that after she's done here in Marina City, she's going to Yoran Country to be with that man. She even said there would be nothing between her and Herbert. We heard it clear as day!"

Brinley's face twisted with contempt. "So you're saying she's been using Herbert all this time? He's helped her so much, and she dares to string him along while she has another man in Yoran Country?"
